That's a really cool project. One tip I would offer for avoiding contamination of your white ink pad , press it against either an acrylic block or any piece of plastic packaging and then you can daub away at that without contaminating your white pad at all. Thanks for sharing.
Your technique is the best I've seen, having some of the white circles be more opaque to give depth and dimension. You used lovely colors for the background too. :0)
OMG what a gorgeous card!!! I sure did enjoy your video....I am totally wowed as to how you achieved your Bokeh look thanks for showing how to do it....a fantastic tutorial...gosh this will be awesome to do on a 12 x 12 layout....it was amazing to watch. YOU so ROCK!! Joan Smith
What a wonderful technique, I love your card and will try it. I have a question tho', do you need to use shimmer paper or will any cardstock work? TFS Anita
Anita Holmes Hi Anita! I've seen people use watercolor paper because they used a watercolor wash to create their background. I opted for sponging because it's quicker (no drying time) and believe you could use any white cardstock. I like the Shimmery White for the added sparkle :-)
I recently pulled out some bokeh backgrounds I made a long time ago and the white pigment ink is smudgy. I think I need to spray it but haven’t seen this mentioned in anyone’s videos?
Using a clean dauber >>why not dab some white ink on the back of a stamp block first >>so you don't dirty up your white ink. You can always add more white ink to the block as you go. Just a thought.

LOVE that tip Robin! Thanks for stopping by too :-)
As a commercial photographer I can say the second card more accurately represents true Bokeh. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. I use this method on my coloring pages. Good video, short, succinct, easy to follow. ❤
