Awesome job Chris, was fantastic to finally meet you in person and interact with all your fans on the livestream chat as well, really made my afternoon 😀 All the best James previously known as Recreational Runner
Wow.. 👍👏👏.. Well run. I'm rooting for you and so happy you smashed it. That feeling of 1st sub-4 is precious when you have trained so hard for it and finally received it. Ok, move on to sub3:50hrs next!
wow! amazing efforts all round. I love Dorney to run at. I did a 16 mile maratho prep race there 2 years ago and was so well organised but agree on the wind, sometimes it's a killer!
Congrats on the sub 3:50! Great stuff. ANd all for a good cause too! I cannot wait to get my first marathon under my belt. The two I signed up for last year, Madrid and Valencia, were both cancelled for obvious reasons. I've signed up for Valencia again this year, really hope it will go ahead. It's in December so still plenty of time. My only race to date has been a local 10km which I loved but I def need to do more and build my collection of race merch!
Congratulations 👍🏃♂️ it’s an amazing feeling when you first cross the line. Now you’ve done it you’ll go even quicker next time. 3:30 on the horizon keep at it 👍
Massive congratulations to you all! Been watching your training vlogs and it’s great to see all your hard work paying off! Looked like a cracking event too.
Just curious what were the arrangements at Dorney regards COVID restrictions? I was watching the organisers of the London Marathon this morning who were talking about pre & post race COVID testing being potentially required in October. Were there any such stipulations at this event?
I’m not a fast runner matey so it don’t matter it’s what ever works for you. Alan was wearing the brooks elite as he’s a pronator and he smashed sun 4 👊
@@FordyRuns cheers for the top advice. I will try out some neutral shoes when I am fit enough to run further than a few km (dodgy calf at the moment!). And FYI, I've donated to your just giving page. Well done to all of you.

Well done Chris you smashed it! Congratulations to you all on your fantastic efforts.👊🏻

Saw you three on the course - looking strong. I absolutely loved it! Got my Boston qualifying time so am over the moon 😊😊👍👍 Well done on your PB 🎉🎉
Wow congrats!!!
@@FordyRuns Thanks very much 😊😊
Well done Fordy. The most important bit of kit by far was the sunglasses ! That sun was so bright !
I suffer with allergies in particular my eyes but what do you care you just trying to dig me out ...
@@FordyRuns Sorry Fordy i didn't know. It was just a light hearted trivial comment. Easy
Fantastic Chris💪 Awesome job and for a great cause
Thanks so much
Well done! I'm in your video at 4:05! I was really struggling at that stage but brought it home in 2.39:07, which was over 5 min PB 😁
Wow you machine!!!!
Tremendous run Stephen

I have my marathon on Sunday. It’s been 1.5 years since I went a disappointing 3:09. You give me motivation to try hard and improve.
Good luck!

Wow! Great going and yep defo needed the gloves 🤦♂️😂🤣
@@FordyRuns literally couldn’t feel my hands or watch vibrate come the end 🤣

Amazing effort Fordy! Bet it was quite emotional being back racing and seeing those portaloos?

@@FordyRuns must have been really tough - if you’d been on your own it would have been boring I guess .... round and round and round.

Well done to you and the rest of the team. What shoes were you wearing and why? Cheers
Thank you! Check out my video on the Alphafly I did the other week I explain the reasons if you get a chance
@@FordyRuns cheers. I've seen that vid. The shoes look awesome, but I'm not sure they would suit me, as I'm not a fast runner and I overpronate.
