My favorite adventure author when I was in Jr high . The Mysterious Island was one that blew my mind, especially after I read 20000 LUTS first.

Jules Verne was a navigator of knowledge. His capacity of learning new languages of science was amazing.

I absolutely adore your passion for learning and teaching people, I'm a English teacher and I've read most of those books, and I still learned brand new information i never new, anyways thank you for educating the youth as well as me. What your doing is a great thing
    Keep it up😊

Is this a troll comment? You’re an English teacher?! Let me educate you. You’re AN English teacher, not A English teacher. Learn the difference between NEW and KNEW and also learn to use YOU’RE instead of YOUR when it’s appropriate. If you’re an English teacher I feel sorry for your students.

I wouldn't have minded had he not claimed to have been an English teacher. If he's doing it deliberately (as you seem to think) don't you think it's a bad habit and quite hypocritical for somebody who's entire career is to teach people how to not do what he's doing? You dumbass white knight wannabe. 😂

@@adampaul2986 There does seem to be quite a bit of irony there...I wonder whether maybe this was "voice typed"...I've had some real howlers come in as text messages, from people I know would not type thus...they've been texting by voice, and the system mangles the words...perhaps not, though, in which case here's Weird Al Yankovic's "Word Crimes", which makes many of those points hilariously... th-cam.com/video/8Gv0H-vPoDc/w-d-xo.html

The World of Jules Verne is among my favorite of your videos, and I was wondering if you've considered giving a similar treatment to the works of Alexandre Dumas. I'd love to hear your take on him and his work (or really any other 19th century authors of note). Just a friendly suggestion. Thanks again for all your work on these. They're great!

Stuart Ward I am not tremendously inspired by Dumas but there are 19th century writers like Dickens, Poe or Flaubert I would like to talk about. Thanks!

Here in 2024. Was craving the old style and cadence of your earlier videos.

I'd love a video about Barbara Cartland, after watching this video I thought about what major popular writers I think would make an interesting subject, and I think Barbara Cartland might be a fun one. Her romance novels always took place in a historical time period and that could stay with the theme of your videos that are all about history. If you don't think she'll be that interesting, I'll understand. Thanks again! :)

Thanks, I am not sure about Barbara Cartland, I know of her of course but I never read any of her books (shame on me... or not? ;-) ). But I will definetly make more videos about writers.
