definitely annoying when they miss significant comments - right from the start: they missed Koreeda's ending remark that he was essentially attempting to depict how family was getting broken by society. That was one of his main points! It's like watching Chinese whispers Japanese-->French-->English. The loss/changes in information seem to be happening with the interpreter on stage (French/Japanese) - she's definitely changing up or forgetting a small portion of the information. The French/English interpreter doing it in real-time is picking up all the points.

余韻がずっと残る映画だった。
カンヌで最高賞をとらなかったとしても、かなり動員を伸ばしてたのではないかと思う。
会場のバックの配色等が気品あって美しい。
松岡茉優のアップが多かったね、カメラマンのお気に入りなのかな。
また、観たくなってきた。

最高賞とらなかったら、あまり話題にならなくて動員が少なかったと思います。
現に自分もパルムドールをとらなければ観に行く事を考えていなかったので
ですが、獲っても獲らなくてもこの映画が素晴らしいことに変わりは無いです。

After this conference, she explained to the press that she was moved by Kore-Eda's comments about Kiki Kirin. The comments had told how great actress Kiki is. And Matsuoka thought how wonderful work of actress is. At a later date, Matsuoka said that if I were lizard, Ando Sakura was a dinosaur, and Kirin was a dragon.
