    From the least promising looking location, you still find treasure! I wonder if that is how my wife felt when she found me?? 😂🤣

      I am sure you are treasure to each other and that's all that matters :) Hahah funny way of putting it though Kerry ! There is treasure everywhere, you just need to know how to look for it! x

    The dark and brutal history explained in this video,I’m always shocked to hear about the ways people punished others back then,wow.
    The Eden river,I love that river,I walked along its banks whilst hiking Hadrians wall back in 2016.
    Sadly,only 6 months earlier,it overflowed its banks,causing massive damage and loss of life.

      It stuns me how hateful some are. Even now, pushing people under trains, shooting people, attacking innocents, and of course, horrible war.

    • @scottishmudlarking
      @scottishmudlarking  ปีที่แล้ว

      Terrible times! You're right... it really doesn't bear thinking about how brutal people can be - just horrifying!
      Its shameful to say we have never visited Hadrian's wall! We must get out further and more often! So many places to see!
      Thank you so much! Very best wishes, Nicole & Craig xo

      Alas, yes, our species can be terrible... It is horrific. Thankfully, we can also be wonderful... We need more of that and less of the terrible!
      Thank you so much, best wishes, Nicole & Craig xo

    The largest amount of lovely, multicolored designs on pottery shards I saw was in videos from Lancashire Mudlarks. Every vid I say to myself "Oh, Nicole would love that!"

    Hello Nicole, Hello Craig; I do so love your history lessons Craig and I always look forward to hearing those true stories. Nicole I know if you make anything from what you find that its gonna be beautiful. Like the lovely necklace from a small piece of pottery or transfer ware. I envy your creativity and wonder what special gift I was given because it hasn't shown up yet. Maybe the gift of gabb.Greetings from the U.S.A.

    like the Scottish politics bit near the start, somebody might be added to that list never know(name ends in A)........think you would find some historical artifacts in the area! There we go now there is PYRAMIDGATE, detective work now.......We got our own battle this w/end(England - we have as much chance as Laurel and Hardy making a comeback)! Nice jewellery again!

    • @scottishmudlarking
      @scottishmudlarking  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its such a complicated period and hideously murderous too! I'll have to give that name a think... We hoped we'd find something more interesting up there - lots of occupation and travel through the place, but I reckon its been so dug over through the centuries, we'd need to callin the time team to get at anything cool!
      Oh!! Wishing you all the very best of luck today! Fingers crossed... When you mentioned the L & H comeback, my first thought was - oh yeah! Then I immidiately had an image of zombie L & H and thought better of it!! lol
      Very many thanks, best wishes, Nicole & Craig xo
      *fingers crossed*
