- “Prelude To Ecstasy” by The Last Dinner Party, from their UK No.1 debut album of the same name, performed live for the very first time, with orchestra, together with so far unreleased fan favourite “Godzilla”, at their “intimate variety show” held at The Roundhouse, Camden, London, England on Thursday 1 February 2024, the eve of the album’s release.

Wow, thank you! The orchestra was set quite far back without amplification so I think the sound mix suffered. The only solution is Albert Hall with full orchestra! At first glance you’d think I was further back, but those heads are press photographers. The whole team were outstanding in Godzilla. Simply knockout! 🥊
@@LiveInConcertUK I think the sound quality is really good. Probably one of the best or close to yet. Overall though absolutely the best full show I've Seen. Of course that's I think the most elaborate stage show they've had. I can believe how impressive this band is. The look, style, lyrics, music is all like perfection. Must've been an awesome experience.

Sadly there weren’t any TV cameras, but hopefully the BBC will cover their performance at Glastonbury on the 29th. 3.45-4.45 on the Other Stage.
Why isn't Godzilla on the new album?!
I mean, my guess is it doesn't fit the sound of the rest of the album. It's quite different from their other songs so maybe it'll be in the next album?

bad /amateur recordings like this make a disservice to musicians. The Last Dinner Party sounds much better than this
I'm just happy someone recorded it as I coundn't attend, quality doesn't bother me.
It's what gave them such a buzz before even releasing anything or very little to almost social media presence. You have no idea what you are talking about. Nothing amateurish about it. Crisp clear, nice sound and editing.
