They didn't add it because of how damage works in CW with the weapon rarities. Having double damage is kind of irrelevant when you can continuously upgrade your damage anyway
With double tap guns would literally one shot for like 45 rounds

The reason why there are grapple spots in the SOE Pack-A-Punch room is so you can revive your teammates across the wall run in beast mode
You can jump across and it takes less time to do so than it would to use the grappling hook.

On Outbreak Alpine, when the beacon spawns in the building with all the hot tubs, there are 2 ledges that you can’t jump onto normally. This is because the ceiling beams are too low. The only way to get there is to climb onto the wunderfizz(?) and then onto the ledge. You’re forced to crouch when you climb onto it.
They probably were gonna put Double Tap in, probably even the 2.0 version, into the map but they realized that every gun being able to do 2x damage would have made the game even more broken and they'd have to go back and change all the enemy health values accordingly, etc... Man, Cold War was such a fever dream of overpowered delight. Feels weird being nostalgiac for a game less than 5 years old in a franchise that I've long lost interest in.
13:33 On a similar note, my laptop keyboard lights up blue whenever I go underwater in Bo4! It also pulses orange while loading into a map. If you want I can send you a clip! It really caught me off-guard when I went underwater on Tag
1:04 there was also a time were you could glitch the weapon that your specialist in multiplayer holds in the menus and endgames to hold the m27, I still got my firebreak that way
I will never forgive Cold War for the Double Tap neglect. It's a crime it isn't on that game.

13:46, the VMP wall buy outside the map was left over from a cut alternate route to the waterfront district that was going to be a 2nd door purchase in spawn
The door was going to be where the barrier is next to quick revive. Hope this helps

2:10 Note: You'll need to start up a game of Outbreak then you can exit your game once you spawn in then go to Die Machine to make it so you can get the Nova Gas part... Something about Outbreak giving the player a larger hitbox and it saves to the next game you play or something... But that's how it works!
Following up from 3:53, if you switch from ranked to unranked it also triggers you having to complete all the bows, and you can keep your mega gobblegums as well

1:46 - I believe it's for escaping when you're stuck - think during the Easter Egg final step and you get that poison effect and you need to cleanse, but you're stuck in that normally inaccessible canal bit under where the 3 keepers hover, where you can stay as the Beast

Nah that double tap perk jingle gave me a massive bo2 nostalgia trip. The first time running up town, and tranzit, while being 12, 13 years old and hearing all the sound effects, no music, no stress, just happy to be able to play🥴
0:44 I believe this happens because you’re on round 6 and since the Bowie knife is a 1 hit til round 9, so you’re essentially killing them with the Bowie knife rather than the insta kill

Really grateful for the zetsubou breath explanation. I've played the fuck out of that map and was always curious as to what increases oxygen. I knew jug and gas mask increase time but didn't know about stamin up adding alot more seconds and other perks removing time.

I was watching all these videos again and got to the point where you translated all the names of the maps and there's a fun fact in those. Nacht Der Untoten being "Night of the Undead" and Tag Der Toten being "Day of the Dead" is a reference to George Romero's movies. His first movie was Night of the Living Dead in 1968, his next zombie movie was Dawn of the Dead in 1978, and then Day of the Dead in 1985. He didn't make another zombie movie for 20 years and the the ones he made after that all had a different feel to them so a lot of people consider Night and Day to be the beginning and the end of the "golden age" of zombie movies.
On top of that, the original name of Night of the Living Dead was actually Night of the Flesh Eaters before being changed very late into production of the movie. The zombies in that movie are also never once referred to as "zombies" in the movie itself. That's because they aren't zombies, they are ghouls. Before NotLD a zombie was someone under the spell of someone who practiced voodoo and was practically a slave who would do anything and ghouls were slow, shambling, undead humans who craved human flesh. After NotLD released many news articles talking about the film mislabed the ghouls as zombies and the rest is history. I bring all this up because Scarlett in the chaos maps (or at least IX for sure) has many voice lines calling the zombies both "flesh eaters" and "ghouls" which in my head means that Scarlett is as big a George Romero nerd as I am and I love it.
Zombies the game mode would've never existed without George and I love all the nods to him the devs put in. As Richtofen says in Tag, George was a great man, and he shined a light in the darkest corners of our souls. RIP George
Double speed on the tram happens when the tram moves for the first time, which is usually when the first door in spawn is open; if you use the truck jump to turn on the stairs and leave spawn without opening the door, when you ride the tram, it'll be double speed since it hasn't moved before.

Fun Fact: in the early years of Bo4, it was possible to glitch into the super ee room on IX(since been patched). You needed at least 2 players and everyone to have the nowhere but there elixir. The NBT elixir worked by teleporting the player infront of the downed player instead of just near them like it does now so, the downed player would line up with the gate - other player(s) teleport and you're in.
12:55 Moon has a similar feature where Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold plays if you're the last alive in a round, or something like that.
During a run of the Mephistopheles boss fight with my friend, we were on the last talisman when the hoss spawned a wall, and I got pushed into its spawn path. Because of the way the wall spawns, it sent me flying all the way out into space for quite some time before I started falling until I hit a death barrier.
It was the most confusing and hilarious experience I've ever had in that boss fight.
I had something similar happen where his wall pushed me under the map.

Genuinely super upsetting that we never got the Super EE rooms in BO4. The idea that some of them were even directly related to the lore is super cool...
Also that M79 Camo... I remember being over halfway done with it when the requirements were changed, and just feeling my soul shatter as I realized I had wasted all of that time for nothing LMAO

the youtuber M3RKMUS1C has footage of the M27 glitch happening in-game.
Ik dataminers didn't find the rooms for DOTN and Tag, but my theory is that the room on DOTN either would have been the grave house thing left of the impaler secret stairs, behind the wooden gate by the stake knife, or in some out of place bookshelf that doesn't have a secret open easter egg. For Tag I think the common theory was that it would be a side room in the Ultimis test tube room across from the power switch.
I got one though: How many easter eggs can get bugged out if you do steps during the transition to (or during) a dog round? In IW basically every bossfight will start flipping rounds if you enter them during soecial rounds. On IX if you kill the 4th Ra gladiator on the transition to a special round it can softlock the easter egg. Where else can these kinds of things happen?
Also: If you grab the SETI-COM from Hasslehoff too quickly when you first build it as the round is starting, you won't get the SETI and you'll be softlocked

i was playing IX one time and when i went to revive my random i used the elixir to teleport who was down and it glitched me into the super easter egg room. it was weird

The M27, much like the KN-44, was probably a test weapon for the game. The game did use games like BO2 as a base for the code so it makes sense to just use a weapon from that game for testing.
It's like how in many places scripted weapon shots are fired or gun effects occur a KN-44 was used as it was likely the first rifle made for the game.
i truly believe that if bo4 had regular perks it would’ve been the best zombies mode in cod:,(
I miss the Rush gamemode. I think it was called Rush? 4 players competed to get the most points while rounds carried on naturally. Really got some good competitive vibes with randoms, until the late rounds when downing meant you had no chance of coming back so people would d/c. I think its still playable but only for private games, they must have disabled public playlists due to lack of interest I guess.

Craziest easter egg ive never seen anyone except myself do, So you hammer a screwdriver through your console or pc, and the game will blink or even crash if you're lucky 😮 And it works on literally all the CODs 🤯 if anyone tries it plz let me know ❤️

I believe the white thing in call of the Dead is George Romero's spawn point before he actually splms in the map cuz I've heard if you hit it It will do damage to him and double tap was removed from Cold war because the debs believed the weapons fired fast enough and because of the new system double tap would be 2 op and technically with some guns double tap already built in so they didn't put it in
I found a bug once on Der Eisendrache where the void bow would insta kill the giant keeper on round 70. Never tried to replicate it, but thought it was wild. And to clarify it would one shot each of the damage phases.

Did you know that the difference between green drops and blue drops are that green one count for all players and blue ones only for one player (zombie blood, death machine and full power for example are blue drops)

I heard someone once theorize that the B04 Super EE rooms were gonna feature a golden PaP machine on each of these maps after completing the super EE. But I kinda doubt that since this was a Tag Der Toten invention and Tag wasn't even developed by Treyarch. Who knows honestly?
I think the golden pap would’ve made sense. Most players couldn’t stand packing 5 times, so I could see Treyarch using the Super EE as a bandaid fix. It also could’ve been a weapon locker.
@JoltzYT Yeah but again, the golden PaP wasn't a Treyarch invention. Activision Shanghai developed Tag Der Toten and the golden PaP machine, which means Treyarch probably had something else planned for these rooms. The weapon locker makes more sense to me
