- it's here at last! Finally start collecting Dutch Belgians! I've had to up the funds to £300 due to inflation and a lack of plastics, but for all you moneybags' out there... 🤣
Hope you enjoy, and see you in the next one!
Tim increases monthly budget, still over spends 😂
Amazing video to listen to while painting up some epic scale minis. I was wondering if you were planning on covering danish - norwegian army and the swedish army? They had some fighting in and around 1814 between the nations (so late napoleonic war) plus sweden was a contributor during the battle of leipzig.
Love to have your videos on while painting, would myself love to see a video on Denmark-Norway, though i suspect such a video might be somewhat one note. That note being perry.
Have you thought of adding a graphic to show how the army is built up as we move along? One figure = one square for example? That way we have a clear picture of what we will end up with. Great videos.
@ianharding8578 with the Armies I own I did manage to get photos of the men. I guess I could use proxies as its just a representative...
First class paint job on these magnificient Dutch/Belgians...and interesting presentation!
Great video!!!!! I have found, by following one of your videos, that according to my awfull maths, by the time I finnish painting all of the figures from month 1, it will be Christmas, and as my birthday is in June, following one of these videos would be a year long project which is great!
I know it`s about Building the Netherlands Army , But the Black Powder book, Albion Triumphant Volume 2 The Hundred Days campaign, Is simlpy superbe, With the chapter and special rules on these chaps.
Nice Tim. I would swap one of the line regiments for a battalion of Chasseurs to provide a light battalion for the force. Plus being green it’s some painting variety
@BootsontheTable great idea!
Always a good watch
My first ever Project was the Dutch/Beligens 28mm Perry Heaven , built around the Forces from the Mark Adkin Book Waterloo.
I Suppose I can use them In Napoleons Russian 1812 Campign.
Might have to do Dutch Belgians next! Currently painting a Brunswick army as part of the PCP paint a army challenge on their facebook group. Have you done a start collecting Brunswick?
Something you never seem to mention is the expanding ranges available on Etsy 3D printed for an expanding number of nationalities?
Tim, any plans to re-do the Collectiong Ottoman Empire video now that the Perry's have started releasing their Ottoman range ?
Is this the same video as the last one?
I think it is the same as the one from a few weeks ago.
