A few days ago, I sat at the bedside of a very courageous man .... a much-loved brother of mine, who had battled prostate cancer & then leukemia, & he never wavered in a faith that was unshakable .... that he would walk this journey in the rain, but he would stand dry in front of his Lord & God. A few hours after I sat at his bedside, holding his hand & telling him how much he had meant to me throughout my entire life, he passed away & his leaving has left a huge void in my heart. Almost one month ago, I lost my dear father to suicide. No tears or hard feelings, but when I listen to this song, it helps me cope a little with his passing. Nothing will ever bring him back and I can stay up as many nights as I want thinking he will come home in the middle of the night... but i listen to this and it gives me a piece of harmony for the reasons I am here.
