Apply the paint is lighter coats, with minimal reducing with 4011 Reducer. Sometime applying either the base color or AutoBorne 6000 Transparent Sealer along the tape edge helps prevent paint from crawling underneath. Another thing to look at is the tape itself, using a quality paper tape meant for graphics. Additionally, applying the tape over an inter-coat of 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear is better for cleaner tape lines compare to taping the paint direct. Thank you.

I’ve recently started playing with createx colors. And I keep having the colors end up under the tape. Any advice?

Yes, start with 6013 Silver Sealer, then apply candy2o colors. Top-coat with a 2k urethane or epoxy clear. Thanks.
