- We all are well aware of the 9 days of Navrati that come usually around April and November but are we aware of the other two Navratris that come in the year. They are called Gupt Navratri and are dedicated to the DUS MAHAVIDYA - The 10 Eternal Forms of Shakti.
Maa Kali, Maa Tara, Maa Tripura Sundari {also known as Lalita, Shodashi}, Maa Bhuvaneshwari, Maa Bhairavi, Maa Chinnamasta, Maa Dhumavati, Maa Baglamukhi, Maa Matangi and Maa Kamalal {also known as Lakshmi}, are the 10 Mahavidyas.
India, Bharat is a land of knowledge and wisdom. Out ancient Rishis figured out the deep secrets of this universe and thereafter they wrote all of them down in different ancient texts. The concepts of Navratri, Gupt Navratri and 10 Mahavidya are beautiful examples of their deep knowledge.
