Thank you Sir for your great videos. I had a Seiko NH35 with a scratch on the rotor, and the watch has a see-through case back. I removed it and used your technique by putting new straight grain on it using an abrasive pad on a block of wood. Looks great now and is back on and working great. I'm learning from the master!💚
I’m very much an amateur but just managed to replace an Omega 1471 with an ETA 288.002.. would never had tried without the inspiration of your videos… many thanks 🙏
I admit that I love the case and parts restoration.. like when you made the tiny screws! Hey, I thought you were singing again, then realized you sped up the sound😊very best brother! Frank
Funny, I was just thinking about why no one polishes the movements and this video popped up in my feed. Thank you for the explanation and congrats on your success with those pieces. 😊
Hello Because I ❤ your channels. I remember the black super oris. I bought a 671 kif. Inspired by you I restored it which took months to learn this calibre. I have now sold it online. Now I am doing this full-time. Because of your videos. I love my new career. Love from Lancashire
So entertaining and impressive Joe.. I’m learning that when you say: “that’s alright, isn’t it?” It really means: to the Batcave and the lapping machine, plating and the mops!! Love it Joe! Frank in Colorado
Wow. That one has had a hard, hard life. Good call on restoring the rotor. The rotor will necessarily have somewhat looser tolerances than other parts just because it has to clear so many other parts and bridges.
Lovely work Joe, please make a series about this one, or the process of restoring parts. There's so much out there that needs help to bring it back to life, and so few Nekkid Watchmakers left: your expertise and passion are a lesson to us all, and this is a great way to ensure your legacy perpetuates. We are all apprentices. Thanks Joe.
That before picture was just all kinds of nasty. Incredible refinishing, and hope to see the full restoration. I can't imagine letting a watch get into this condition, particularly with a rare movement. So glad you're saving this one.
That's fantastic Joe. Your skills are clearly visible through your work. Please can you add some info on the orientation of the levers inside the reverse gears, when you do the video. I am having trouble with one I have serviced. I am 90% sure there is excessive wear but would like to make sure I have not missed something. Bold of me to ask this, but pretty please?
Great Video. Yes, please do a full video on this. It would be a great to see is reatored or at least brought back to the living. Keep the videos coming.
Hi Joe, your copper solution is saturated. You could get more dissolved at a higher temperature but this would possibly harm delicate watch parts. A great video as alway. 😊 🤗🍉
Always very fascinating to see good craftsmanship. This channel contains large amounts. Very good work. Looking forward to full length video. Thank you !!
If there is a way to make something shiny, shiny again, you'll find it, Joe. Hope you and the family are doing well. Looking forward to the next video.
“But the stains were like the teeth of a tobacco-chewing villain, in a western” LOL!!!! Great video Joe! Love your content, and more importantly, British humour!
Hi Joe, greetings from Australia. You may remember me from some lessons I imparted some lessons in restoring watches ie WD40 and 20/50 engine oil. This brings me to my point today. Although perfectly capable my methods are well proved, I would like to give you the chance to work your magic on my long gone grandmother's watch that is I believe over a 100 years old. It gold and I was told it might be an early Rolex movement. I could think of no one better to do this restoration, I would be truly honoured if you were to take this on..... please From Oz with love.
Considering you couldn't even read "AUTO PRINCE" beforehand, I'd say you've done a wonderful job and it's worth every bit of saving that old Tudor. I'd like to watch the full restoration!
If you put the copper strike solution jar in your ultrasonic cleaner the heat from the water bath and the agitation from the sonic waves should cause the copper crystals to breakdown and absorb back into solution. 👍👍
Hello there fella, Happy New Year to you and your family. I've just seen an extraordinary watch on the tube, a Masonic watch, with, wait for it.........a TRIANGULAR movement! Have you seen these before?
I love that you at least try to save so many pieces that others wouldn't and the skill you demonstrate restoring the unrestorable!
I absolutely love your work/videos and this one is why I keep coming back.
Always a pleasure to watch your work! Perfect!
A short N.W. video is better than NO N.W. video. You are truly an artist. Thank-You for sharing your art with us.
I really do enjoy your narration, both the professional AND the humor.

No one would believe the before and after shots are of the same part. Magic.
can't wait for the full tour, but this was a very much and long craved appetizer! thanks Joe!
Joe your work is always so interesting to watch and learn from. Thank you for continuing to do these videos!

It looks like rose gold after you polished it up. Looking good!

Great job, once again your skills and determination paid off. I bet the owner is very pleased.

That was incredible work Joe. It looked hopeless, but you worked your magic on it! Thanks for sharing that technique.
Thanks mate

Wow...what a transformation. Are you kidding...? I'd be estatic to have the rotor look like that vs before.. Kudos to you... Persistance prevails..
That was fascinating Joe. Your knowledge and skill always impress. Hope you and family are well. Cheers from Texas. Peace ☮️!
Cracking work as ever. Need to get me some of that Copper Strike, never thought of that for reviving movement plates.
This is really nice! Love your video's and your narration!
I met a watch maker from Birmingham in Texas last week to buy his cleaning machine, small world. Great work.

It's cool to see a movement restoration, down to re-plating.
Just love watching your videos, like messing with quartz watches but love what you do Colin from London England ❤
The dove was a sweet touch. Symbolism will be their downfall. Great job on the watch!❤ Always top content from a skilled brother. 😊
That was a real labour of love, excellent work!

If there is a way to make something shiny, shiny again, you'll find it, Joe. Hope you and the family are doing well. Looking forward to the next video.

Looks great Joe! Looking forward to the whole thing!
Well done, Joe.
You can do copper plating using copper sulphate which is available from garden stores. It's the easiest plating to do.
Always great to see a new video from you.
Considering you couldn't even read "AUTO PRINCE" beforehand, I'd say you've done a wonderful job and it's worth every bit of saving that old Tudor. I'd like to watch the full restoration!
