The most detailed video on coloring book cover page creation! Thanks a lot Craig
Dude ... you're awesome. Love the fact that you're so precise. Love the work you do.
All your tutorials are great. It is very easy and crispy to understand. I am a great fan of yours... Thank you so much... God Bless You...
I absolutely love your videos! Thank you for the very easy tutorial. I just found your channel a few days ago but I’m hooked. Blessed Be 🔥
the greatest tutorial i've ever seen after 100 videos! so detailed. very nice. thanks and greetz from germany :)
Great video. Informative. For raising the Seahorse at the bottom, my idea would be to draw a soft heap of sand and place the drawing on top of that, so it would look like a raised seabed, getting the color fill sample from the lightest rock to act as sea sand color. That would raise the Seahorse above the barcode and still get the Seahorse fully visible. You could scatter a few black dots (mini) to mimic sand grains. Overall, great cover. Thank you for sharing.
The whole point of this video was not to do any drawing at all; I was trying to make it as easy as possible for those of my viewers who can't draw. I get what you're saying, but either way, I'd still have to cut the seahorse out from the rest of the drawing. If I was to raise the entire seabed drawing up higher, it would start to crowd the artwork above it. I wanted to leave some space between the two.
To go through all of that extra work just to get the seahorse's tail out from under the barcode, is really not worth the effort, especially since it's on the back cover.
Obrigado pelos excelentes tutoriais. me ensinam muitissimo. Um abraço aqui de Portugal.
Thank you, this is great information!! I have a question regarding your copywrite page that you mentioned at 6:38. Would you recommend always having a copywrite page for coloring books and how do you go about doing this?
I would put one in any book you create. You can see a sample of one of my pages at this time stamp in this video here: th-cam.com/video/J5IvD_-3KBo/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for the tutorial.
Is it possible to create this cover in Photopea?
Sure. Photopea pretty much has everything you need to do what I do in this video.
@@CraigBabin On my computer Photopea can't load PSD-Text-Effect Files.
@@hello-world-store1861 That's weird. Because I have no problem opening the text effect that I use in this video, inside of Photopea. Does the effect that you're trying to open require a special plugin? Or for you to load a special font to your computer first? That's the only thing I can think of that would be causing you a problem.
Waw, very nice, but I got dizzy with so many layers! I work with Canva and find it easier to handle, but maybe my covers are not that professional
Can I do all this on Canva with creative fabrica’s designs?
I don't see why not, as long as you're abiding by CF's terms of use, what software you use to create your designs really shouldn't matter.
That being said, I don't use Canva so I'm not familiar with their terms of use.
Don't you have to leave space on back cover where Amazon barcode goes?
The barcode that Amazon places on your book will be a rectangular box with a white background, so any illustration that you have in that bottom right hand corner on the back of your book will be covered up. That's why I recommend in the video not to place any important text or imagery in that area. The coral along the bottom of the book in this example is not important, so it can be covered by the barcode.
Came out awesome
Thank you.
