I miss this guy
It seems only fitting that Cool Cat's debut cartoon was also the first to feature the "Abstract W7" logo sequences.
To me, Cool Cat is like a cross between the Pink Panther and Sugar Bear (the latter from his portrayal in "Linus the Lionhearted," an animated series that looks and sounds very similar to the Warner Bros.- Seven Arts cartoons). But at least he pulled the Looney Tunes out of a rut after nearly a year of nothing but mindless Speedy vs. Daffy cartoons.
Classic!
Both W7 and Abstract WB are the GOATTED
Looney Tunes "Cool Cat" (1967) (Redub) Voice Cast:
Neil Morrissey as Cool Cat,
Eric Bauza as Colonel Rimfire.
Cool Cat's theme song is performed by the Clingers.
Additional voice actors and voice actresses.
The clingers sang the cool cat theme song from a Looney tunes cartoon cool cat.
if you watch Sylvester and tweety mysteries he made cameos in some epiodes
The backgrounds in the unrestored version of this cartoon looked absolutely hideous. In this version they're... still pretty bad really, but at least they look a little more vibrant than the ugly, washed-out backgrounds you saw in most other W7 cartoons.

Cool Cat is no Pink Panther.
Fantastic opening and closing.
