The area is way over crowded now and too expensive for what you get. Bumper to bumper traffic everywhere you go. When I am able to move, I certainly will.

A lot of people do say that and I appreciate the honesty, it certainly helps people make their decision. Please let me know if I can help with anything 👍🏼

My wife getting transferred to either Wilmington or Jacksonville for the new Wawa's being built. She is a manager up north here at a store. Personally we're hoping for Wilmington. Im a propane technician, is there a lot of propane down there for source of heat and other ususes?

Hey that’s awesome!! With the expectation of a couple big neighborhoods almost every house that uses “gas” is propane. You’ll have work here. Reach out if I can help!

@@livejacksonvillenc thanks. I really appreciate it. Which town do u think is better overall. Jacksonville or Wilmington? We wouldn't live directly in the city because I'm not a city guy. But surrounding areas. Or are they both good?

@@hdlowrider1903 they’re both great in their own way. I personally lean toward wilmington simply because it is a bigger city than Jacksonville with more to do… I live in Holly Ridge, which is dead center of Jacksonville and wilmington. In the outskirts. But wilmington is bigger, so if you’re not a city person, the north side of Jacksonville might be up your alley. Swansboro, Morehead city or Beaufort

I would love it, but you’re in a MAJOR hurricane zone.

Yes - Any area on the coast is subject to Hurricanes.. I have folks moving from Jersey Shore area whose house got wiped out by a hurricane several years back… Carry insurance and everything will be fine. Locals throw hurricane parties, it’s just part of the lifestyle! 😆🙂

Hi Nancy! I appreciate your comment. That’s definitely a concern that a lot of people have, but it is all perspective. A lot of people moving here are coming from much bigger areas and believe it or not love how small wilmington is lol.
