This is really deep. It really makes you think about how many people there are out there that could potentially share a mutual love but they never meet or are blinded by an opportunity to meet because we meet people everyday, but most of the time we never care enough to realize that a stranger passing by could be everything you are searching for.

I like the differences between the two sides. Rudy is clumsy, fumbles with his toothpaste, spills his coffee on the counter, wears mismatched socks, and has tangled headphones. But Maia is organized, steady, wide-awake in the mornings, moves at a quicker pace, and doesn't notice Rudy like he notices her. This could mean that she's content with her life right now. She feels that a love-interest would be nice, but isn't stressing over it, her literature is companion enough. Whereas Rudy is more desperate for intimacy, he wants someone to be the muse to his melodies. Now all that's left is to see where the book, the only thing binding these strangers together, takes them. Or maybe it won't lead to anything, it's possible they'll never see eachother again. So close, yet so far apart.
