Issa - I know you will not likely see this. I am 71 years old. I stumbled upon Awkward Black Girl in early 2011 & laughed for hours!!! Then, immediately sent it to my son & his wife, who were in their early 30's. They were so shocked their old mama hipped them to something so dope!!!! We shared many laughs watching those adventures. So cleaver funny!!! I'm so proud of you!!! Keep soaring!!!!❤❤❤❤
Being in a position to get approached for projects, that you are too busy to take, creates a great opportunity to refer them to someone else in your circle. “Oh, that sounds like a great project, unfortunately I can’t do it right now, but I know ______ who would be great. Let me connect you two.” Saying “No” opens up an opportunity for someone else to say “YES!”.

I had the pleasure of meeting both of these women in the beginning of their journey, they were approachable and sincere. Issa was surprised that I knew who she was.
Ava is literally still the same person, same energy today. Just recently saw her breakfast club interview and her energy just so magnificent. Love these two women, they're so inspiring. I needed this to fill my spirit tonight.

I loved Isabel’s masterpiece book the warmth of lovers other sons. Her book Caste did not get the recognition it deserves Because it cuts too close to the bone concerning what BIPOC lives with in the USA Today. Honestly, I think I wasn't agreeing with just asking people for insight, because I was afraid people didn't want to share knowledge and insight, so thank you That you told us that you want to be asked I do this, what is this, how should or could I do this. Like we are afraid people will try and little us because we want to do something that is just beginning, but I'm not scared now. I'll be asking you Ava AND Issa!
