thats the problem with most of you, you really don't get it, you give to much credit to Alan and less to Martin that gave the musical sparkle and mood; as stated in an interview by Alan Stripped original demo of Martin had almost all of the sounds including a motor bike that was the intro of the song (later changed with Dave's Porsche car sound) so yeah no one can add a vehicle engine in the starting up of a dance song like Martin ;)

@@liquidmercury1783 I love hearing people praise this album. This is by far my favorite DM album. While music for the masses is a close second and violator and songs of faith and devotion are amazing in their own right, I felt this album was the true turning point For this band.

@@eltonjohn02 =0 ! lol watch some really old footage of them live, they stand behind keyboards, barely moving... their live performance has (famously) improved vastly with time. i first saw them on the _black celebration_ tour. it was outstanding, but they have only gotten better. trust me, im old and wise!! >_< peace!

@@isolirionband7300 Songs of Faith and Devotion is okay, and it has "Condemnation" on the album, which is one of their best songs. However, I think there are too many songs on that album that don´t really mean anything to me. My favorite is Music For the Masses - that is when they peaked if you ask me. All the songs on that album just have that crazy great vibe, like Little 15 or Behind the wheel

This song is still and will always be a majestic art work in every detail. The beat/drum is unbelievably amazing, it gets me every time! The fast and deep rythm is kept trough out the whole song (just like I Feel You) and that’s why the length of the song feels so short at the same time. And like every DM songs, the louder you play it , the better it is. Best synthpop band ever. Period

I was in a deep dark depressive period in my life....they wanted to take everything out from me....I said...'ok....take everything....just leave my DM albums alone...if you want them....it will be over my death body'....this was real...no BS....I remember this song and the rest of their albums as if it was yesterday....they are and were part of my life....being a fan since the 80's.......I saw them in San Diego for the first time in 2017....and with joy and happines...a lot of memories came to my mind while at the concert...it was magic....I love DM....with me.... forever....

I remember finding old CD's and LP's in my dad's collection, so I put the CD's in my laptop and listened to it. I would lie if I said I wasn't instantly obsessed with the music (That was years ago). Two years from now I went to my first ever concert- the world wide spirit tour. My dad and I managed to get tickets for the best seats available, and it was absolutely amazing. I connect a lot with Depeche Mode, and I've been going through so much with this music by my side. Depeche Mode is an absolutely amazing band and I just love this song so much. Music like this reminds me that there is a reason to not just listen to mainstream pop, I mean- there is obviously nothing wrong with that, but personally, everything got very uniform, especially the music. Super excited to see what Depeche Mode will create in the future.
