I think, that they did amazing job on this speaker, but they still should go back to stereo speaker. I really dont want to see a mono boombox 2.

Vít Rytíř Pulse 3 was also Mono and that is fine, because it wouldn't be omnidirectional anymore if it's stereo

Seeing your video after buying a JBL Pulse 4 on clearance for $99 + tax at wally world. It's my first JBL Pulse speaker. Nice to see how it is made. Next goal is to get the JBL Pulse 5.

It seems stupid to make it stereo in the first place the speaker is small to begin with you wouldnt hear L and R sound well and second if they added two you would only here L or R one at a time depending on what side of the speaker youre sitting at

Actually not the 1st, it's this other youtuber that dug a hole in the grille showing it's not a tweeter but a driver (Speaker) underneath, but if you're talking about full "teardown" than yes this is the 1st Complete teardown of the Pulse 4

Use a hairdryer on it to soften the seal the top will lift off easier without damage! The XP rating is rubbish on it anyway so wouldn't worry about it not being waterproofed after taking the seals off!

Trust me, the cost of the materials used on this speaker are quite cheap so no wonder why it looks cheap lol 😌

The charging port and battery indicator look like it's just floating.
Easy way to get of the top lid without you scratch it just take off the 2 rubber sticker buttons on the side of the lid the one with power and light symbols on it after you done that place your fingers in the holes pull upward then just use a plectrum or somthing around the edges and pull it off easy peasy , bottom come off by itself you just use some force and pull it off with your hand.
if you ever need a high security safe just use a pulse 4

Previous speakers were mono too. Even ones with two speakers.
@Null Correct. My Charge 2 and 3 are mono. The Xtreme is stereo tho.
To bad you did not take it apart more to see if can put a jack in it so don't have to do Bluetooth. Or to install a external antenna. Nice to know the USB-C only has 2 wires to it. No use trying to plug in a USB-C with power and headphone jack on it. I don't know what they were thinking to just have to work with bluetooth. I have not took mine apart and from out of the box there is a little black dirt in side the glass part.

Problably not I took apart my Sony xb21 and put it in water and water got inside... it still works though.
I have pulse 3 (never disassembled) and i have submerged it many times but, i didn't noticed any damage.

I just tried charging my JBL pulse four and it was on and now it’s not even working anymore, no power to it no snow nothing anyone out there knows what could have happened my cord and my charger everything is in working condition has been tested and other equipment charger port is In good condition and has no defects on it

I just cant make a true solid RED color on this thing. Only bought for this reason and... no luck. This is frustrating, I dont want these bouncing fancy lights if they're not the color I want, god dammit

This has bad audio quality u pay for the leds.
It has good audio quality, they tried to do the sound mix like the Xtreme 2 and Partybox 300/100. the bass is not very Deep but the rest is just fine
