Here's some other tips that I thought I'd share/clarify:
-Starting in the maze, you're gonna wanna grab the chase item that's hardest to grab when being chased, followed by grabbing the chase item you wanna use first. In my case, both of these items were the bone, but there's some mazes where the carrot is harder to get. In that case I'll grab the carrot, then the bone, then the pipe sword.
-I highly recommend you use the chase items in this order: Bone, Grass, Carrot. Bunny's room is close to a dangerous dead end, so I like to save that for the end of the match so that Bunny can save me if I hit that wall. Also, the Shadow Sentinel spawns in Zizzy's room, so you might have some trouble using the grass first. Using the bone first and passing Zizzy's room gives the Shadow Sentinel a good opportunity to leave Zizzy's room, so they'll be less obstacles when you revisit her room with the Grass later on.
Also, check out ErnieC3's guide if you haven't done so. While his strategy never worked for me personally, I really liked his format and thought I'd add onto it with some more consistent strategies:

I have completed all piggy book 2 but every time I go to camp on swarm mode the keypad
does not show up for me
I found this game-changing tip: if TIO is close to u run and jump and bc of his hitbox it’ll make it harder for TIO to get u, probably why NO_DATA said he couldn’t outrun him
tip: so get the second floor items and out them in the house safe place and city also i like how THESE SHACKLES OF LOST TIME it looked like tio was dancing but chasing

Thank you very much for these tips. I have not been able to even play the first part of the boss battle because of the spawn kill bug, but I will be sure to keep these tricks in mind when I get the chance.
yeah so just don't move when you get teleported to the boss fight after the puzzle run. I have been in the same boat before
If you unlocked the 2nd floor, here's a strategy on how to defeat TIO:
Try to give any NPC (Like Doggy or Bunny) certain items they need. Now, once you do that, head to the first floor and go to the house area (You know where Georgie is dangling). Head upstairs (that house area) and since TIO can't jump through the ceiling, TIO will get surrounded by the NPC and get knocked out.
Another strategy is the same but the only difference is that you give all the NPC the certain items before you head to the house area on floor 1. I don't know if it's a bug or not but I guess it'll work one NPC at another to knock TIO.
pov tio: GET OVER HERE YOU LITTLE **** (player runs into house) OH YOUR CORNERED NOW… (player jumps off stairs) tio: *complains about how he cant just jump off too*

It took me almost two weeks to do this...
The winning run had him get stuck in the staircase.
It took me 3 days. The winning run was really lucky for me as i could barely spot the black sentinel but dodged it and the white one blocked the staircase. With luck i managed to pass it. I got the bone. Gave it to doggy. Ran to the house part. Ran twice and doggy eventually hit TIO.
I cant even fo because of this bug-
ik im late but i got it last year and it took me 5 weeks total and 372 tries bc of 1 glitch that kicks me out of the round even though the time wasent over. but 1 time i did lab too fast that i fixed the bug by speed and got it. memories...
@@Evanxbdltik u alredy got it, but heres a tip:
if doggy or someone is the oastnone left and its not hitting tio, get stuck in a trap with tio right behind you. They cant kill u while in the trap and doggy should (hopefully) hit tio before u get out of the trap mesning u beat it. (If u think its a troll search it up)

Fun fact - MiniToon wanted to make the dark sentinal with no colour actually colourful, or in other words colour changes… but dew to some bug/mistake he couldn’t

so when u solving the puzzle lets say a clue says >* and the middle white piece is +. You go to the thing and look for the part that has >* and then in that “section” make it a + (if it says +). Hope that helps! If u still dont understand djust watch a yt vid they do good at teaching
Getting to the city is op bc it’s so wide open and it’s good for distracting too and surviving
one time my friend went afk during the cutscene and i was able to get to the point to feed doggy the bone, i died to a black sentinel since they are hard to see (i got tio now btw)
I actually enjoyed beating this solo with full graphics, not to flex or anything but it just made it insanely difficult and you really had to play by your cut throat timing

I didn't know how you can go to that area from the house map and jump off to get distance from tio. Really helpful since I'm pretty sure he goes the exact same speed as you, if not faster

Also to hit tio you can use these purple traps. Cuz you will be stunned and our friends can easily hit him.

Thanks for the tips. I did the beginning puzzles with one friend and the whole boss by solo thanks to your tips (code hallway, stealth and chase section.)

I'm trying to get the ending for a friend and I usually distract TIO in the city area while they do the items.
I appreciate the ennard boss fight playing considering the tio stealth section and the ennard boss fight have a similar energy.

To be honest, I went into the Hidden Ending solo with no strategy and I still beat it. First try of the play session, but not the first try period. Yesterday I beat it solo third try of the session. TIO killed me on the first try of that session and I fell into the void during the second try of the session.
Man I know I’m 10 months late but I’m gonna try this with my friend (distracting for the code) so I can eventually get the true ending and call myself a true piggy lover

I’m thankful for this video. The first time (not first attempt at the hidden ending) that I actually got to the maze part, I didn’t know that the places on the 1st floor were randomised, so I end up giving the wooden sword, the pipe sword and the bat to Pony, Zee/Zuzy and Georgie. The main reason I died is because I also didn’t know that Tio gets a lot faster for the 2nd section, but I’m glad I know that now. x

Hey guys i got this useful tip to go behind tio and not get spawnkilled:
Basically if u are on Tablet/mobile drag ur joystick back when tio starts to talk.
If u are on pc do the same thing but press down arrow.
Btw i dont have too rn 😢 but this did help alot

If u die at the lab or the tio part all you gotta do is restart the lab
The two times I could have got the badge, the game ended when I was at the cutscene when he turns into his gooey version

You need to enter the puzzle in the Lab before the timer hits 5:00.

for me it's really easy for me to solo the whole thing I can juke TIO so much

why can’t the code pad spawn I used savior mode and do docks and then I do camp and swarm and it don’t spawn
someone please reply to this I need help I have all the endings for book 2 accept the ??? And hidden ending but I did docks and saved pedro without him getting hit but the Code on camp wasn't there when I chose swarm chaper 11 I went to it and it wasn't here
You need all from book 1 so also true ending
And need to have savior mode on not survivor mode

I refer to stud white sentinel as “flash bang” and the black sentinel as “pitch”

In one of the runs I did with my friend I was in the house and tío was right behind I jump off to get time and the sentinel trap me just outside the house and I didn’t wanna take a chance so I go to the right but forget its a dead end and tío gets there by then and I died
The reason i cant get tio its bc i dont know how to do the colour code and always get lost and my friends try their best to help me out but im low quality so the Cutscene is long

It's not just you, this has been a bug every since the Hidden Ending was discovered. Sometimes it is due to laggy internet..
