Yes it works. I put 2 fortifiers and shields was like rock with this pilot skills here: th-cam.com/video/0vfqNnzFtac/w-d-xo.html
And that one was one of best setups. But in the end I decided to use 2 cloakings. Somehow that stealth combo with Shai drone was maybe little better than fortifiers. It was hard to tell. But generally answer is yes. Fortifiers work on ECU shields

How to be a beacon runner:
Step 1 : squire nether
Step 2 : four ecu shields
Step 3 : run around the map freely because the meta is energy weapons and ecu is actually good.

I had a similar setup on viytaz in the earlier days of wr. An energy shield and two physical shield. I mainly used it it to hold on to contested beacons while my team provided cover fire

Bro i can do the same thing with my Nether too, i equipped 3 Blights on it and an Ecu shielded, at first i only use this setup as a joke but despite the fact that it only has 3 weapons, it survived a pretty long while on most of the match i play with it, who knew that a joke setup like that could do so well on the battlefield 😂
Yes I knew that, but I couldn't believe that You can put 2 ECU (about 4 couldn't even dream). So I have never tried till yesterday

Actually u weren't taking much damage even after I unloaded the full mag of 3 cruel claws and a cruel talon, and then when i got closer and u turned it hit me, that setup reminded me of players that used a double shield setup with a Patton if I remember correctly. TBH it was kinda cool looking. That's why i chased after, you and the fact that you going for the home becon.
