Great review of the Carnival Horizon. We love cruising! Especially in the winter to escape from the cold. We have been on several Carnival trips but have not sailed on the Horizon. It was nice to see what it offers. Great job on your video. Have a wonderful day.
Thanks for cruising with us! I (Robert) didn't think I'd like cruising at first, thought it would be too crowded. But after my first one and having a great experience we try to do one a year. We've been trying to decide if we should branch out and try other lines or build up our loyalty rewards with Carnival. Do you only cruise on Carnival?
@@HereToCheers We primarily cruise with Carnival. Maybe a dozen so far and 2 more booked coming up with Carnival. However, we have cruised twice on Royal. It is a different crowd on Royal (less mobile, older, & less rowdy). On our cruise last month with Royal I thought the shows and productions were the best we've seen so far. Top notch performances! However, I still prefer Carnival's younger crowd feel. I don't want to age myself out too soon! LOL. I think you could try Royal at least once and see what you think. The price between them is comparable or slightly higher. No matter, cruising is fun fun fun! Have a great day.
Good to know! We keep hearing that carnival is the party cruise line, we've only cruised their smaller ships and it hasn't been crazy. It has made me wonder how chill are the other cruise lines and we might not enjoy them as much.

We love us a good cruise!! The sky ride on this one was really unique! Would love to try that! I love that this boat doesn’t seem too over-crowded! We’ve been on a couple cruises during peak times that were wall-to-wall people!
Oh I think we would jump ship if it were to crowded LoL The only time we felt crowded was during the dance classes otherwise we had little problem finding personal space. Cheers to better cruising in the future friends!

Looks like a pretty fun time guys. We have visited Aruba a few times it’s one of our favorite places and we plan on going back we’re not really into cruises but the last time we did one was a long time ago and we may have to try one again.
We would love to go back to Aruba! So much more to explore, that's one short fall to a cruise, not enough time to really discover a place.

I thought I wouldn't like cruising, there are definitely plenty of reasons to avoid them, but I pushed myself and took a solo cruise once many years ago and after that I was hooked. Thanks for coming along on our cruise, stay warms guys! ~Robert
Kind of curious why u say u would never do one - what is it about cruising that is a turn off? Maybe try a short one just to see what it's like? Keeping in mind w land vacation could have just as many negatives as a cruise might

Looks like an awesome cruise ship! I've been on Norwegian and Carnival before. Plenty to do at this cruise, and so much food options, watching them go on screen by made me hungry haha.. the port stops are cool too, you guys get to go to other parts of the Caribbean. Thanks for the tour guys!

No problem! That's how we like to cruise and we normally can't find that type of review. Our budget doesn't often have room to do excursions at every port but we also want to get off the ship for a while. Thanks for watching and glad you found it helpful!

Anything I might suggest I think u guys have already done - definitely love Jijis, have only recently been able to do any hot tubs so those for sure, somehow I thought Serenity was bigger than it is - maybe I imagined that(?) Lol - the waterslides are definitely a good time and great way to cool off after laying in the sun - I have yet to try the Skyride since it always seemed to be shut down any time we wanted to try it so that is for sure on the list of things to do

You had me at 12 dining options! We are always worried about feeling stuck on a ship but this looks HUGE! How sad to hear about Aruba. THe train you caught for $17 seems like a good deal and a nice way to get a tour! Great share guys.

Enjoyed the cruise ship tour, Gina and Robert. The stateroom looked nice, but it's too bad the music from below came though. The dinner food looked good. Some of it may have been "blah" but so is my cooking! 🤣🤣The buffet looked good the Steakhouse wonderful! Shame about the wait time for the Comedy Show. We enjoyed your shore excursions and the train tour would have worked for us. I think we would have done without the Amber Cove trip too. The boat would have been just as nice! Thanks so much for the tour. Loved it!

I haven't been on Carnival yet! We have only sailed on Royal Caribbean but hope to give Carnival a shot in the future too :) great cabin tour. Nice to see the layout of the rooms. looks like sooo many food options, yum! The food is our favourite part of a cruise. Looks like some fun entertainment too, cool piano bar. sorry you missed the comedy show. We did too on our last cruise :( I've never been to these ports before. So sad Aruba is still being affected by the aftermath of 2020. Such a fun party atmosphere during sail away. Great cruise video! :) You are making me want to go back on a cruise so badly!!
Carnival is the only one we've tried so far and we've been happy. This summer we're trying NCL and maybe we'll try a short Disney cruise if we can fit it in the budget 🤞 NCL is having some great sales right now 😉. Thanks for cruising with us guys!
Do yourself a favor and DON'T SWITCH. We've been on 6 Carnival Ships and this one is just bad! From the food to the entertainment to getting off the ship ( delayed 1-1/2 hours)and not to mention my wife's ear buds (that I just bought her) getting stolen that is our last with Carnival! Getting back to the food, I ate sandwiches' 3 nights in a row as the food on the buffet was just plain sad and If you bring little kids good luck finding something to eat for them. Just sad because we loved the first few Carnival ships and this one was just sad..
the thing is u might have a completely different experience than someone who did have that great of a time so it might still be worth it to try them at least once - of course do ur research and all but idk that i would just dismiss them outright

Nice video!! when you say you couldn't get into the comedy club, was that the early shows or the late shows?? thanks
It was both 😲😲 Every time we walked by the Limelight lounge, the line went into the casino. People were lining up way before the shows started. We attempted the first couple of nights to get into the shows but didn't make it in, the rest of the cruise we would walk by the lounge to see what the line looked like, it was never short. Hopefully others have a better experience.
We are doing the Horizon to Southern Caribbean Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao 1-4-25
Hopefully Aruba will have recovered more by then but it's still a beautiful city. We haven't visited Bonaire yet. We hope you guys have a wonderful time, try to get into the comedy shows, evidently they're the best entertainment on the ship.
