    "Finding your angle" is probably the most important piece out of this entire video. You can't expect to gain confidence or feel fulfilled by following the same generic self-improvement protocol every social media goblin pushes on you. The perfect angles are the skills you'd work on and hobbies you'd be doing regardless of whether it got you bitches or not because you're doing it for yourself. You can't control who wants you so why not just focus on finding what you're good at and take satisfaction from that. You shouldn't ever have "nothing to lose" in this life, you're either building and moving forward or you're decaying.

    "Some people are just ugly."
    The most bitter truth of our time that it seems impossible to accept. Because to be ugly, or at least to be non-beautiful, is average and normal. And being average is just not enough in today's world.

    • @BasedHyperborean
      @BasedHyperborean 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +46

      It absolutely is, though. Ugly/overweight dudes get married all the time. Instead of fiending over baddies, realize your position and find a woman in your lane. There are plenty of happy couples that are both below average in terms of looks. Not everyone deserves or will attain a beautiful partner, but a mid partner that treats you well and doesn’t make you feel insecure is still perfectly attainable.

    • @whatwastaken
      @whatwastaken 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +19

      @@BasedHyperborean My lane personally is probably eternal singlehood as I don't think mids would give me the time of day either, but I was just speaking from what feels like the collective frustration of our time. Perhaps it isn't as true as people say, but it feels that way for many people.

    • @BasedHyperborean
      @BasedHyperborean 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +18

      @@whatwastakenit feels that way because so many people are looking for something they simply can’t have. Women as well as men, but the amount of dudes that are objective losers that just think they deserve a 10 and no less is a little ridiculous at this point. Just find someone you get along with and create a life together. That’s literally the key to a happy relationship. The looks go out the window for everyone on a long enough timeline anyway. If you’re dooming yourself to a lifetime of being single, that’s on you. That’s your fault, bro. You don’t have to live like that. There IS a way out. I’m rooting for you, big dog. You deserve a happy life. I met the girl I plan on marrying about 8 months ago. Before that, I’d dated quite a few girls, but it never worked out long term and I was starting to get bitter about it too. Then she just kinda walked into my life and completely shifted my perspective. Go to church. Go to bookstores. Get involved in community activities. That’s where you’ll meet good women.

      Part of that might be due to his job. I’m in IT (but just as general support, not anything specialized) and a lot of the time people get burned out and feel like they don’t have much purpose - I’m actually moving for this reason. IT from what I’ve seen and experienced is draining because you’re always fixing things and trying to squeeze in time to keep other things updated so you CAN fix them. It’s very tiring and feels like you’re just in a hole forever not actually building or improving. I’d honestly take a warehouse job over IT; been doing it for 6 years and man, I’m just tired. One thing that the writer isn't understanding is that hanging out with a Chad still increases your perceived social value. Not to mention, he can teach you things. He can give you training advice, or introduce you to girls, or you can copy his style and learn to dress better. It's not winner take all, it's WINNERS take all. I can't say that for a lot of internet personalities, especially relative to my age; nor can i quite describe the magnitude of relief i get from your videos. In a world where I often feel pulled in so many different directions at once, whether it be reality, social media or the thoughts in my own head, the tension lessens here. Everything slows down and I'm, in an oh so relatable way, reminded that I'm not alone in the suffering that is life. Lol no need to shame another person for trying to fight some light in the darkness. Any average person can find other avenues that doesn’t keep them a jaded nihilist, especially if they hone great skills to better those around him. Most times women can actually find value in a man’s intelligence and utility, rather than just looks alone.

    My advice is this: Someone who is far above you in the social hierachy (this from an interaction between your physical appearance and personality) should never be the friend you are closest to, because it can't be. After a certain age the social pressures of the world will just make this impossible. It can't work, because your failure (when the friend interacts with people on his level) will create resentment in both you and the friend. It can't work. You should have a friend(group) in which you feel valueable and are at least in the middle of the hiearchy.
    Loyalty is a virtue, but if you don't take this advice, then you will hold onto the friend(group), resenment will form in all parties, and you will grow so far apart that the entire friendship will collapse. That way there will be nothing left. Your choise will have created a new history (the current present) which will doom that relationship. Hold onto what you have by creating more distance.

    Oh, that's my confession. That was back in November I think, really one of my lowest lows. To give an update: nowadays I keep in touch with my friend, and we're back on good terms. I no longer feel that envy and despair. I'm happy with my physique now that I don't compare myself to him and i'm genuinely happy with myself. I never cared about the fact that he was the one getting the girls and all the attention, it was more about that i felt left behind and that nothing i achieved mattered. I felt ignored by him, so i ignored him in return. We talked that out, and now we rarely chat since we both stay pretty busy. I think that my key to finding the happiness, was just living day to day and really taking in every moment, and appreciating the small things that make me happy. Remember, when you hit the true rock bottom, there's no other way to go than up - we're all gonna make it.

    This video is complete truth. Just because you're accepting of certain things and that you're just predisposed to never live the same life as other people, doesn't mean you're depressed or a negative person. If anything, it's the acceptance that allows you to continue living life with healthy mindset, unlike when everyone is doing the exact same things and you're unable to accept that some people will just naturally be ahead of you, which if anything is only going to make your life worse because you'll be constantly comparing yourself to the guys who you'll never be like, but that is OK. Find your own path in life, keep improving with the cards that you have been dealt, and shit will work out for you. It's exactly why 'self-improvement' has become such a shallow and meaningless term because it's less about finding your own path and instead it's all "if you don't do these exact things then you'll never be anything in life and I'll fuck your girlfriend because you didn't go to the gym one day". Didnt even see the video but Ive seen this kind of confession time and time again and everybody just goes off on the jealous guy. Thats bullshit. This kind of situation hurts a lot more than being mogged by a random. This was your friend, which you thought was in the same boat as you. You were a team, trying to deal with pain together. But now life has revealed him as your superior. He's now riding a cruise, unmoved by the powerful waves that smash against your boat relentlessly, not knowing how long you can hold on before you flip over and sink. At that point, a friendship can be no more.
    Of course he would become bitter. And in most stories Ive heard and read, the chad starts a fight with his friend if that friend even mutters about the cruel injustice. Start calling him jelous and not a real friend, not long before he insults him in degradefull ways, simply confirming the jealous friend's feelings. If you do not feel an ounce of empathy for your friend after he remained in the dust before you, coughing and struggling to breathe, even if he was unfair towards you, as you did not want him to be as he is, then YOU werent a real friend. Nah its valid to hate on him. I didn't even realize but I was in and still am in the same position. New kid joined my class, we were like 11-12. We were both losers. He quickly rose up the social ladder that year tho. I wasn't jealous. Okay then years later he rose up so much he was friends with everyone, even seniors were messing with him. Was I jealous? Nah.
      Now this is where bro became a Chad. He went into the more "bad boy" archetype that basically pulls women university. Starred hanging out with the more morally ambiguous guys and what not. They weren't bad people tho. They were chill and charismatic and didn't do any necessarily wrong thing. But then we started to have more falling outs and we just didn't talk anymore. Then he went on a training arc. Bro lost all his weight, then built muscle through calisthenics, that on top of his charisma made him the most wanted guy in our school. Again take note at one point I was his closest friend. We hanged out and talked everyday like crazy. Did I feel jealous? Nah, obviously I wanted to be more like him, more successful but I was jealous like this guy. I was upset we no longer talked but I was still happy that he was doing well. I knew I could achieve the same thing if I tried. Went on my own weight loss journey etc. Didn't do as well as him, I wasn't as consistent so if I got to around 17% body fat I gained weight again even though it was mostly muscle. Also was still antisocial but I did do better and I was content and happy with that. Made more friends etc. So I'm good, there is no point in being jealous of him. Its not like him being successful made me unsuccessful. So yeah bro deserves the hate.

    Easy to rag on OP for being whiny but tbh, can't help but notice that people tend to make friends with people they have a similar potential to. They judge it at an early age through things like height, looks, hobbies. And if that turns out to not be the case later on and someone starts to transcend, that one tends to bugger off and live their life among other more successful people. Or they hamstring themselves because they feel bad. To a certain extent the latter might be caused by negativity from their friend group. It is normal to feel that way, that's just how our status obsessed chimp brains work. Inner struggles like this and falling out of touch are just the mechanics of how separation happens and it's just life. We can feel glad for the ascended chad even if his friend can't, but realise that we get to feel this way because we are completely uninvolved.

    As an older (non-Chad) fella, I have a lot to say about this. I was a lot like you, I was a gym rat for years and one of the fitter guys in my friend group. I had six pack, I was fit, but no matter how long I spent in the gym, I never developed that "Chad physique." I'm Asian and I was balding in my mid 20s and thus invisible to women.
    First and foremost what seperates men from women is men are capable overriding our emotions with our logic, so stop hating your homie for his good fortune. Jealousy is a natural feeling, but don't let that ruin your friendship. You should be happy for your friend. Be his wingman, you'll occasionally pick up some leftovers, but be careful about getting friendzoned by women trying to monkey branch to your buddy - that's just how it goes. Being his wingman, you'll get to see the true nature of women up close and personal. My Chad friends passed their valuable insight into women on to us normies. There is nothing like a Chad to teach you the true nature of women. The Red Pill/PUA teachings started with Chads.
    Furthermore, Chads don't necessarily have it made. That car that got keyed by some crazy bi+ch - that's most likely Chad's car. Chads often suffer from "too many options" just like women, making it hard to settle down. Some Chads never settle down and miss out on having families. Additionally, I've seen women absolutely emotionally destroyed after being pumped and dumped by a Chad; literally emotionally destroyed, broken and never to be the same. I'm sure Chads carry a lot of guilt knowing they unintentionally destroyed another person's life.
    Chads also date more attractive women, but as the hot vs crazy index tells us, the hotter the woman, the more crazy the woman. All women are crazy, but a lot of hot chicks have a special type of crazy that you want nothing to do with. Women (especially hot ones) are agents of chaos, so your Chad friend is going to end up with a lot of chaos in his life. And when it comes to divorce, Chads don't get to dodge that bullet. It's hard to say, but I think Chads are more prone to divorce.
    So be happy for your friend, embrace his success, do what you can emulate it. Look into Red Pill/PUA and hone other strategies to help you with the ladies. I also suggest reading FDS (Female Dating Strategy). Reading FDS will keep you from putting women on a pedestal.

      If you are asian, if you did struggle (not sure) why didnt you just considered going to asia maybe, or did you?
      I seen lots of these asian men (25+) online, thinking they have to be jacked/tan/cool to get noticed, but from a early 20s guy, I see it as a little cringe.
      If you are taller than 175cm sure muscle works, but below it looks compact.

      @PaulVonLoren I was tall too (6ft). Passport bros wasn't really a thing 30 years ago, although my Dad was one. 🤣 Other than dating I was happy with life. Eventually I found PUA material instead, but at first PUA (aka Red Pill) was a little hard to swallow. Then I decided to read "The Rules;" a popular female dating strategy book. After reading that I never looked at women the sam.
      There’s 3 things about FDS, one women don't even understand what they want in a man. Two, they set themselves up for dating/relationship failure, which is probably why men/families used to have much more control over this aspect of a woman's life. Three, women certainly don't belong on any pedestals. As my wife says, treat them mean to keep them keen.

    The genetic differences in weight training only showcases slight differences in genotype, meaning that no one is particularly excluded from developing an athletic frame, rather that some training favors some genotypes more than others. If you showed a picture of Israel Adesanya’s brother or Georges St-Pierre’s brother to a typical blackpiller, they would say, “It’s so over ☝️🤓” without knowing their siblings’ background. Perhaps that success is a combination of both but I’ve yet to seen a rebuttal to why two people with similar genetic material don’t achieve nearly the same success.

Therefore they’ve had much better luck with the ladies than I have and every now and then I notice thoughts of envy popping up. So i thought it was going to be similar to my situation, but it’s not. I have a friend that also entered the sigma male grindset. And he’s doing great. He found a job he likes, he’s progressing, and he’s hitting the gym and working hard on his gains. And i couldn’t be prouder of him for that. However, he changed. He became very nihilistic, very redpilled and went deep down the david goggins and andrew tate rabbit hole. Luckily, my friends and i pulled him out of that. He’s still working really hard and i’m really happy he still wants to achieve great things without resorting to toxic motivation. You have to help your friends. And you have to honestly congratulate them on their achievements. Support them without jealousy. And if you see them doing something wrong, don’t just cut them out. Help them. They’re your friend. They deserve your help.
