Well yes I do wear a wet suit. -But... the purpose for my wet suit, is to keep me protected down there. -I spend a lot more time down in the ocean then other people do. -so the strong material of this wet suit, keeps my skin protected -there's a lot of sharp rocks where I go diving, so... not a lot of people go there besides me. -Anyways, this part of the ocean is more shallow -Here... I can teach you to dive without any danger coming to you -could you come a little closer? -that's too close, can you back up a bit -No it's nothing. I'm not used to being close to someone like that. - n-no don't apologize. It's just me. -but that being said, are you comfortable holding my hand? - yeah, it's a little embarassing but it's necessary. - I don't want the tide to take you. -For safety, let's hold hands for now. -Okay. Make sure to follow my movements and stick close to me okay? -And don't let go of my hand -You can hear me right? -okay, squeeze my hand really hard if you need to go back up or feel anxious -Do feel okay right now? Hidden amongst the coral... -Are big powerful barnacles, they tend to shoot out at divers so let's avoid those for now -let's swim over here there's some friends I want you to meet -Other divers? No it's not other divers -I don't usually... talk to other people... but.... they are friends of mine! Otters. -well, don't laugh! Don't you want to see them? -Well okay~ here. They already like you! -I have some treats under my belt so try feeding one~ -see? He's eating right out of your hand! Looks like they have a new favorite. -Don't be surprised if they follow you. They often follow me around when I'm searching for objects underwater. -for example, sometimes Lyney asks me to uh find certain materials underwater for him -Then before you know it I feel a nudge on my arm! It turns out to be one of these guys -perhaps maybe... they're just easy to befriend! But... I only say that cuz I've seen Neuvilette, I've seen him playing with the otters?! -Thats not what I expected to see, not from him -I think a lot of people in Fontaine, mask who they really are -I think maybe Neuvilette is not as stern as he seems and my big brother Lyney... hes... not as cheerful as he seems... -ah- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get emotional. Ur not alone. Atleast u learnt a bit of how to swim.. my age and my actions don't match coz I can't go on pools without a floaty QwQ If no floaty, I go to children's pool coz it's the perfect height for me XD I am never learning swimming, not with mid age grown ups teaching me, they throw me in the pool and laugh it off QwQ painnnn
