Right now the asko machines are made in Slovenia. Asko is now part of the gorenje group. 6 months ago I bought the asko 6884 eco ....nothing but trouble. 3 control boards, 1 leaking detergent draw, 1 broken water inlet valve (the water kept on going), numerous hits against the cabinet while spinning ( i mean really out of control). I found out that I am not only customer complaining about this. Then the ask heat pump dryer; leaking through the door, needed a new rubber, after a 4 months same problem again. So I returned everything to the store, paid just 300 euro more and bought a good miele washer and heat pump dryer. The miele washer and dryer are soooo much more quality, much less noisy,much more intelligent control board. The dryer from miele is much faster then asko
