One morning after an underground warehouse party where i would include one over packed capsule white mdma with each ticket, I offered this small group of people a ride home. We had finished cleaning and load out yet They were still there having a great time as if the music never stopped. Next thing you know I was sitting with these folks having such an amazing time, like we knew each other since birth, when A.Shulgin walked in and shook my hand and “welcome to my home, glad you could join us”. He invited me back the following night and That was the first of many times I got to visit, listen and ask so many questions and this brilliant man just seemed to get happier with each question asked. He loved his work and he loved sharing everything he has learned.

@@petertousignant6566 you can dance to the ambient sounds around you on mdma ...I've stopped taking it in protest of the main method for making it.....the precursor is a 1 step compound mda I believe...it's saff oil..they are systematically deforesting the Cambodian rain forest..they just cut the trees into logs and boil them in massive boilers to harvest the oil... So the next tree hugger you see on E...tell them about it.....Sasha certainly didn't use this method... today's chemists are untalented and ruthless around the rainforest.....saff oil goes for 1000 euros in Amsterdam...it's profitable stuff... completely unethical though

Thank you for this. I never met Dr Shulgin, but was privileged to receive an autographed copy of PIHKAL. Much later, fate allowed me to cross paths with and work with Professor Nichols. It is refreshing to see the phony stigma surrounding these important molecules being replaced with bone fide scientific study. Sasha Shulgin was a true pioneer. And how wonderful that he had a loving partner in Ann to share in the journey.

When I take certain psychedelics or disassociatives..I certainly hear music. Audio hallucinations..it's always the same crazy tune . It's in 1 note so it's a drone but it's very complex and beautiful..even when it becomes discordant and wonky ...I heard an LP called TIME Machines. an alias of the experimental band Coil...it's made up of drone pieces not dissimilar to sunno)))))with a different chemical compound attached to each drone piece...it's made of electronic drone pieces with phase shifts and other quite complex but subtle shifts and changes to each track attached to it's composite comound😢..it is extremely hypnotic and it actually does SLIP TIME...the mind literally goes into a hypnogogic state. I often come to as a piece ends or the LP ends. I bought the cd as well to achieve this state ..But I digress. This is the music I hear on certain psychedelic experiences .....it was recorded under the influences of the very difficult to find drugs on the record..A chemist friend supplied the molecular inspiration for the record... All rare. And they would take the drugs and work to record what the ears were hallucinating .it's a fantastic record.. I have several copies on different formats...it gets repressed occasionally...it's a trip..it says not to drive or operate machinery and I agree...it gives an mdma sickly feeling on the fancy mmddmno one.. spellings? . and i will time travel occasionally..just wink out ... Does the brain think it's had the compound?... like a psychedelic blackout. Surley the music that Is attached to the compounds the brain produces or has music attached to the drug or the experience ,we have surly a universal sound...dancing into the light as ceremony is universal as was shamanic practice so music is definitely universal and In the mind ...and manifests under trance state exercises. ...or psychedelic ones. The thought of a population whose mind has been opened is dangerous to that power. However, just like anything in the world, bad actors can utilize certain compounds for malicious agendas. Use them for the right reasons, educate yourself so that you can educate others, test your substances with test kits, use proper doses, and be away of set and setting. Use these compounds to grow, show those who look down on you just how intelligent, kind, and open psychonauts can be. Change the mind and change the world! Love and God conquer all!

MDMA is the most therapeutic chemical I've ever experienced. I support it's use in therapy for all emotional issues, from trauma to marriage counseling. Trust and the removal of the fear of being judged can take years to establish in therapy. MDMA sets up these parameters in a matter of hours so the healing begins far sooner. Mental health is the biggest ailment we have these days and the key is currently illegal for medicinal purposes. "Anything taken in excess is poison" holds true but medically controlled usage is extremely safe.

Alexander Theodore "Sasha" Shulgin was an American medicinal chemist, biochemist, organic chemist, pharmacologist, psychopharmacologist, and author. He is credited with introducing MDMA, commonly known as "ecstasy," via academic journals and papers to psychologists in the late 1970s for psychopharmaceutical use and for the discovery, synthesis, and personal bioassay of over 230 psychoactive compounds for their psychedelic and entactogenic potential.

…most of the documentaries I’ve watched regarding soccer crowd violence in Britain during the 1980s inevitably & thankfully mention the near seizure or disappearance of this alcohol fuelled activity at matches during the 1989/90 & following season because as interviewed scallys & hooligans cheerfully declared “ we were still high on E from the night before & the last thing on our minds was fighting rival crews whom felt the same as us “ .
The authorities soon put a stop to it by preventing Raves thus sending them all back onto special brew & coke ….

I'm so very impressed by these incredible individuals, for some reason I have experienced an awakening and I now want to experience these mind opening compounds and find out what I have been missing, my awakening has shown me that the mind is a separate function than that of the brain, I now consider the brain as the interface of mind and body, and I think I can prove it. Really it's already been proven they are just not aware of what has been proven.

None of these drugs are what does the changing. The only allow the blinders of conditioning to be opened and seen through by the eyes of the heart, bypassing the ego mind. It's already all here within us. Some need influence or guidance through chemical interaction, while others do not. Spiritual living or living from the heart is the meaning of all of it. Growth and health and love and unity of all beings.

Terrific documentary, at the beginning they are talking about peyote yet show a spined cactus, it's my understanding that of all the cacti the most potent is the penis Cactus and it has only one spine per penis branch and is entirely handleable, Ted also mentions the spiny Factor as a impediment to enthusiasm for the plant itself, very few of my 50 different Cactus have a meanbite to them, the opuntia are the worst with their g l o c h i d s but as far as I know are not psychotropic, dirty pictures having to do with the molecular structure is chuckleworthy, thank you

Terrific documentary, at the beginning they are speaking of peyote yet show a spined non psychoactive cactus, later on Ted is discussing his non-enthusiasm for cactus because of their spines, 50 or more in my collection and rarely am I in massive pain, the most psychoactive I've heard is the penis cactus from the cereus family and it has one massive spine. Did someone take over his property after his passing to continue the research and growing? Would have loved to have seen an exploration of his greenhouse where the plants and their descriptives would have been talked about. Midway through the dirty pictures title was explained as analogous to molecular structures, chuckle Worthy

I disagree - he had an extremely good idea of structure activity relationships (for the time, at least) and mainly worked within the same skeleton structures. He also started at doses that are almost certain not to be active (doses at which the most potent poisons wouldn’t kill you.) so to a degree yes, but in a way no…
