This is not even a problem. We (I'm from BR) speak "Brazilian Portuguese" ...To say we speak Brazilian is almost an abbreviation ...so it's totally fine imo! Not sure why people get so annoyed about it ...(in all seriousness, our language should be named Brazilian only already.. ..it has deviated enough from Portugal-Portuguese to be its own thing for some time already ...I'm sure peps from Portugal would agree).
By this logic English should be called American too ;)

Landed my first ollie today. Well, first clean ollie. I've landed some super sketchy ones before. I know that's the basic of basic, but it felt amazing. If you are learning how to skate and are still working on your ollie and you feel like you won't be able to advance because you are having trouble, just keep trying. Once you land that first ollie, it makes you realize that you can do everything the braille team does by practicing consistently. I found my interest in skateboarding in the way aaron explained it at the beginning. I found a skate everything video and I got hooked. After a while, I wanted to try to learn myself. I traded a pair of shoes with a friend for a cruiser and began learning. I though I would never be able to even learn how to roll due to the awkward misbalance and my body not wanting to roll with the board. I just started rolling around my living room because I was a little nervous of falling outside. After a little while, I went outside with my board, fully expecting to not be able to ride it, and I was surprised I could. Once you get your brain used to the physics, it becomes a passionate hobby instead of just trying something new. Anyway, for anybody out there discouraged by failed attempts at riding, you will get it down if you just keep trying, even if you don't feel like you are making any progress. I thought I was not making progress at all but was surprised when I realized I could ride. It was an incredible, exciting moment. I'll always give credit to braille for doing what they do to drive interest. Thanks braille team.
This is one of the few videos where Aaron really sounds super cohesive (usually hes so hyped lol) and I've gained a new level of respect for you as I never knew this is what you wanted as the channel goals! Keep at it.

Awesome! I love watching people skate, but I've broken my ankle twice which pretty much puts me out of (it was inevitable,) the skating pool. I can't wakeboard, snowboard, ski, or get my legs wrong when I'm crossing them for the pain 4 screws and a plate causes. I'll watch you guys skate.

Btw method works. I first watched the video skated the door and then your videos were all over my TH-cam. After like watching you for a while. I got interested and bought a skateboard. I have skated at least 3 days a week since like mid December. Now I am ollie-ing on and off of everything, I can do both 180s, every pop shove besides switch, and I am working on heel flip as of now. Your videos are a huge help. If the main Brallie channel was in like German, I would probably never watch the first minute if that first video, and I probably would still not be skating. So yes push the Brallie team hard to make the SMS videos in all languages. It will help millions.
Subtitles yes, but keep the english, a lot of kids out there that need to learn an international language.
I hope this turns out well for you guys. I don't actually see it working out - but I'll be glad if I'm wrong. Maybe get someone that does sign language to do some of your videos as well. If you are doing languages from all over - Might as well throw that one in.

This is such a good idea!! I´m very stoked on how a lot of people will understand what you say instead of just watching you skating. I´m spanish and If it´s possible I´ll help as much as I can. That being said, the original braille in english will be the best
that's great! I'm brazilian and I get back into skating because of braille channel! And I have friends who likes the content from braille but they can't understand English!
Also we have some great channels here who do kind of the same content on braille, so will be a great idea to maybe do some colab.
Speaking about translation, there's some huge mistakes about tricks names. for exemplo, kickflip in Portuguese (brazilian) they call only "Flip" and we use "kickflip" to name varial flips.... this probably so confusing for English speakers, but I think it's a great subject for a video or a series!

As a Chinese in Germany, I still enjoy your voice in "American"
To be honest i am from germany and even tho some people maybe have problems speaking english fluently the majority of us does understand like at least 80% of what you guys are saying. We use so many anglicisms its insane and the english language is everywhere (commercials, TV Shows, school, music,...). So i kinda enjoy seeing this dedication of yours and your will to spread skating across the world but i guess most germans would prefer to listen to the original voices. But hey, maybe i am totally wrong, at least it is a major step for the Braille Army to attract more viewer from different countrys.
However if you guys ever look for people who translate your videos im up for it. #BrailleArmy
