- We were at the Mamila Mall this afternoon, when we noticed a very bizarre situation. A group of 5 year old kids in school uniforms were left unattended in the busy mall area. Their teacher was shopping.
Is this an acceptable scene in Israel? Is it really safe to leave 5 year olds unattended in a busy shopping mall? Was there a valuable lesson that they were learning that afternoon? Is it just a matter of cultural differences? Would YOU be OK with this?
