Love it. Specially because you used a more guitar-ish sound for the lead sound. I miss the harshness of the Mega Drive version but this is an amazing cover of the PCE original :)
A SECOND ONE my favorite chiptune artist makes a second remix of my favorite chip tune. You're a good person thank you for also making it loop twice please make a 999 minute version of the NES one
Well, you can open Famitracker and open that Devil Crash module included in the demo files, and export it to .wav for as many minutes, or hours(?) as you like. Alternatively, you can dump it to .nsf and loop it infinitely in your .nsf player of choice (I recommend NSFPlay).
This is rather great though maybe too clean-sounding IMO. The original or the Mega Drive arrangement by Tecno Soft have both a certain dirtiness that is essential for such music. Actually this is the only tune that I'm still not sure if I prefer the PC Engine original or the Tecno Soft arrangement, every other tunes from the game (@title screen, during the bonus stages, @ranking screen...) I prefer on Mega Drive.
Honestly, IMO anyway, the original is definitely better than both this and the Tecnosoft MD arrange; while this is very good as well and very close to the original, both MD arrangements suffer from the same problem, in that it just doesn't have the same dirtiness that, like you said, is pretty much necessary for metal songs like this If there's anything that the PCE version got right, it was definitely that; can't say I blame it being better tho, Toshiaki Sakoda's just way too awesome lmao
However, what I do think is a much more superior arrangement is Raijin's VRC6 arrange of this tune; it's a very old one, but it actually sounds even better than the original IMHO lol
I think that some tracks sounds just better on the Turbo, like the bonus stage 2, 5 with an excellent fake organ that just sounds outstanding on the turbo. The best five theme sounds fenomenal for the NEC machine with those chorus

If Technosoft was able to hold themselves back a bit and make the cover a bit more faithful and a bit less Thunder Force.
Why am I getting bot replies on a Genesis cover?

ChiptunedRaijin your song is included with Famitracker??? Whoa
I do use nsfs and that is very useful thank you!
This version sounds so good!
You should participate to the Catskull electronics' contest for the YM2020 album!
I've already submitted my entry for that.
@@ChiptunedRaijin Excellent!
@@ChiptunedRaijin good to hear!
nice to see you with more amazing sounds
cheers from chile
Now remix the official genesis version of the theme with thr pc engine soundfonts and the circle will be complete.
Per request, do some remix of the game: Actraiser II, music of choice: Ice Palace.
Thanks alot.

Love how it says Cover, when there's already an official MD port.
Might need a triple mix at this rate.
Best Genesis track ever! This is great but I like technosoft better. Congrats!
Technosoft?
As in the Thunder Force music artist?
@@ultris07 yes. The MD version of this game was ported by techno soft.
@@joaoclodoaudo5385 huh, interesting, never woulda thunk it.
Doesn't seem like a game they'd touch.
Best Genesis soundtrack ever is Savage Regime’s cover of Infected Mushroom’s Saeed. Check it out if you haven’t already.
@@elnoel1220 it is unbelievable, I am an Infected mushroom fan for a lot of years and I never imagined that the genesis could do something like that!
Hell yeah! Keep it up with the great covers

you did really good !! awesome !
Pretty radical my dude
I remember borrowing this game to play one day, only to see my pious grandmother walk into the lounge and demand I shut that satanic shit away XD
Super cool
Nice to see someone make a better version of something already on the Genesis
Excellent.
Fookin 7 minute banger m8
TOP
Hell yeah!!!!
👍👍
Great cover, the only off bit IMO was the bell sounds at 0:48, they kind of clashed with the overall melody.
Sick song and you totally surpassed the original, well done.
This is the Genesis at full strength.
Too bad most developers couldn't use it right
Yeah Technosoft's rendition of the tune is excellent.
