Please be very careful when people claim “G_d told me”. There’s a lot of people who put words in G_d’s mouth. There’s a biblical sense that judgments will come in sinful places. So always seek G_d for yourself.
It is Revelation.....not Revelations. Also, regarding North Carolina, my understanding is that the reason it was destroyed was for the lithium that is in the soil, and people refused to move.
The problem is that these fires punish the celebrities in NO way at all. They have multiples houses. Millions of dollars. They will buy another mansion. More stuff, new decorator. Nothing will change until the Lord changes them.
I see the point, but maybe it's about others seeing them get "punished" or "taken down a notch". Maybe it's not for them; but more for us, the average people, to show them, that in fact, life is hard; we need the Lord. (and PRIDE goes before a fall).
When I was in prayer, the Lord shared that many times, natural disasters like this will happen in a certain highly sinful area as a forewarning to allow people a chance to turn to God. (I am reminded of the plaques sent to Pharaoh as a warning to release the Israelites.) When they see that they are ultimately powerless against God, he will come to them again and ask them to follow him. The flood, fire, plague, etc., are more to humble them and cause them to fear the Lord and wake up to their sin. I know many turned to God when the flood hit North Carolina - some of them had never even stepped foot in a church before.

The people in the Nc area that were affected to me seemed mostly like Christians, and innocent people. In Maui, it was the poor locals.
