I’m a mum & really rubbish at maths and my daughters struggling.. school is very unhelpful 😢 so I’m searching for online vids to help my daughter.. these vids aren’t too long and I’m grateful to mr wall for uploading these vids 😊
Thank you so much! I’ve been trying to understand algebra so I can get a greater-depth score on my SATS. You understand things so well it’s helped me a lot!!
Thank you so so much!! I’m year 6 and sats is coming in may which is in 2-3 months and I was really struggling understanding this so thank you understand now ❤
mr wall for some reason i look at algebra questions like 2 and 3 but i instantly know the answer but when i try to check it it is right but i dont know how to show it on a piece of paper so can you tell me how i can learn how to show it
@@f1r399 Not literally 3 years of age because that's next to impossible and I think you mean year 3 UK? also yeah It's kinda weird having a year 4 doing algebra but's it's ok!

I’m year 6 and thanks so much for this video I’m really behind in school though because I’m doing Scotland curriculum since I’m in Scotland and these questions make me really confused 😓 I feel really dumb :(
but the answer for q3 (orange and bananas) isn’t 120g .... me and my father worked this out together because I knew something wasn’t right , If the orange is 20g more than 1 banana 1 banana is apparently 120g but the orange is 120g it would be 100g .... please correct me if I’m wrong but I’m a y6 student and I’m going to not be doing my SAT’S but I do think it’s very important to study , this right here tricked how many people watched this and shows how many people have common sense.
I’m afraid you’re wrong on this one. An Orange is 140g. (A banana add 20g). If your answer were correct, the weight of the orange plus 100g would be 220g. Then a banana would have to be 110g (which isn’t 20g more than an orange). 👍
Mr Wall is a superhero i watched this months ago i and i Passed my sats!! so i want to say a very nice Thank you
Thank you 🦸♂️ glad you did well!

Hello Mr Wall, in the banana question I think that you should have used a lower case b for banana. Correct me if I'm wrong
It doesn’t really matter! 👍
@@MrWall ok because my teacher used to say that it's a lower case in these sort of questions

thank you so much for helping me- it really did:)
I don't understand the banana one since if it says 20g more than a banana shouldn't the 1 banana be 80?
The orange doesn’t weigh 100g though! The scale has 100g AND an orange 🍊
Thank u it helps

But Mr wall it says the orange is 100g on the sheet
An orange weights 20g more than A(1) banana
1 banana must be 80g
Because the orange is 100g and its 20g more than A(1) banana
Thx bro
Love Nepal
The 5th question u did it wrong it says that the orange weighs 20g more not the banana weighs 20g more then the orange
Me who is here on the week they would be doing SAT’s after they were cancelled :😀
