I like that you can hear a bolt/nut etc dropping @ 1:40 It's all these little sounds you miss whenever you watch a tv show that add up to the experience of actually being in the pits. It's a unique place and I'm looking forward to it this summer.
I love those little details too. In the future I need to do a similar video but inside one of the garages. I'm sure we can appreciate even more those metallic and typical sounds when mechanics are working on a car

This is just what I've needed. I suffered a severe concussion last week when I was hit by a car on my bicycle. My eyes haven't fully recovered, and motion makes my eyes strained. But I've been missing the sound of cars. This helps take my mind off everything, as I sit back and relax with headphones on and envision myself at a track. The quality of the sound is unmatched to that of regular race videos, where there's commentary or whatever else playing over the sound of the cars. Thanks for this Bozzy! 🙏

Forget about race day with all the crowds and chaos, this is where it's at. A nice crisp, quiet morning with only a few race teams at work so that you can enjoy the chill atmosphere.
This is just pure awesomeness right here! Love hearing all those cars starting up, taking off, pulling in, etc! Please do tons more of these, but perhaps 2-3 hours long!
I remember something I used to play when I was youger but can't remember the title. If it was Race07/GTR Evolution or something else, but there was a great background noise while you were setting your car in the pits, with all the wheel guns, bolts dropping on the floor and other typical sounds. Pretty sure the more recent Automobilista titles has the same feature

Many years ago I tried to understand how to convert, edit, tests and produce sound mods for Test Drive Unlimited (if I remember correctly), but it was far beyond my skills, plus my recordings weren't as good as the ones of recent years. Now my main issue is time.. I'd like days will last 8 hours more sometimes :( What i just wanted to say is that yes, I could contact them or any other sim racing studios (although I'm already collaborating with one since a couple of years), but the final result depends on the person in charge of the audio of that game. The final sound isn't the result of my work

I always say that my binaural microphone is one of the luckiest 3Dio Free Space mic ever, since the first day I tried to search for some audio tests before purchasing it... At least it has a different purpose in its life than be licked etc. XD

This is better than any porn. I bought the Zoom H1 because of these and Roland binaural headphones which worked great until it broke the third time I tried to use it. So I'm going to get the same mic that you have. Do you use a limiter and lo cut on the H1? I feel like your original mic had deeper bass. But maybe it's the low cut. Also, have you seen the F6 or F8 from Zoom? It has floating point 32 bit recording.

I feared for it only at 9:59, in real life I mean hehe I was sure to have calculated the placing position quite precisely at first but when I saw that Ferrari coming I was like ''oh, it'll be close... it's close... very close!" so much so that I was about to move it, but then I tried to trust the driver and it worked XD The other 'close calls', looks close from the video but they weren't. Some of the scenes are quite zoomed in so actual distances are a bit difficult to understand. Regarding the mechanics and other people's beaviour, I've been very impressed too indeed. I didn't say anything to anyone, just placed the VERY visible recording equipment on the tripod and everybody behaved very naturally. Sometimes you can spot someone having a look at it to better understand what it was (except for the extra camcorder mounted on my tripod, this is almost what people were seeing in Monza's pit lane: f4.bcbits.com/img/a2604630106_5.jpg ), but maybe the relaxed testing situation helped to this 'natural' result.

No, I think they were just precisely checking tire's temps across its entire width and pressure. Regarding why Ferrari is the most recorded car in this video is just a mere coincidence. The test's entry list was mainly composed by Ferraris (488 Challenge, 488 GT3 and 488 GTE) when I decided to take these binaural recordings. I would have preferred the presence of other cars and brands but that's all I got during that test
