I have those mirrors in my 07 E 250. Best freaking Mirrors I e ever had on any vehicle. Love the lower blind spot mirror As it really helps when you have a motorcycle right next to your van. The only issue you’ll have is you May have to pivot them in when you pull up to the drive through windows.
I have a 95 e250 and I did the same thing but I used all 4 of them. I’m thinking about getting the power ones now and doing them. Ford really don’t change much to the vans but the front end and the motor and dashboard but you can add newer models vans to the old ones. I put some 2007 doors on my side doors and it fits perfect.
I haven't done this yet but if you choose couldn't you have just drilled out that 4th hole and used all 4 mounting studs? You had the stepper bit right there in your drill.
Do they stick out further than standard mirrors? Mine barely fits through my garage door. They aren't that great for visibility. This is a great improvement.

The ones on there now are 3 studs/ bolts
