Homelander legit has some of the best Brutalities in the game
I mained Ermac in MKX and Superman in both Injustice games and he feels like a hybrid of the 2 but I feel like more patience is needed to get the most out his flight cancels

Homelander sounds like he has 5 different voice actors.
I was thinking the exact same. The clash voice lines are okay. But the in between rounds and grab voice lines are so off to me
@@nodochitsu his eyes during the grab animation are WEIRD. I think if he “looked” normal during the throw, the voice wouldn’t seem so off.

Honestly Chris Cox did a fantastic job voicing Homelander, he legit sounds almost exactly like Antony Starr.

He's very tricky to learn, more than even I expected
Cyrax got his sauce back and this is on top of the new routes players (the good ones) have discovered in the past several months with net and bomb set up. It's like a new Kameo has released alongside Homelander!
I'm not sure making the most anticipated MK1 DLC fighter more complex than the average fighter in this game was a good move from a casual standpoint but I am having so much fun with him!

it’s hilarious to me that Homelander has basically no overheads, because every single button he presses in flight is an overhead lol. I don’t know why that’s so funny to me but it is. NRS went all out and I love it.

I just realized that none of this players are doing combos more often. Just seeing them playing Homelander like a beginner learning his move mechanics is entertaining.

This does seem like an evil carnage character, i am waiting see the results. On another note thank god for Hazim, the tournament looked like me and my cousin picked the game and started playing for the first time until he came along, he has a crazy sense for stringing combos together. I did not expect homelander to be THAT difficult to play but i like that, these characters usually have the greatest variety.
Yeah once hazim gets the cancels down, he'll be a menace with homelander. He lost to schoolman only because of that imo. He was confirming and trying to go into flight stance but messing up the inputs.

12:44 Yeah of the 3 Guests, Homelander seems he's the most difficult to play. Even if you've MKX Ermac and Injustice Superman, Homelander has his own things to do with execution

Once you figure out his combo routes, he has some pretty good meterless and Kameoless damage.

I think all players need to master at least 3 characters. 1 of favorite classic characters, 1 of top tier characters and 1 guest characters either homelander, Omniman or Peacemaker. And have to choose wisely to counter pick the opponent.

He's definitely a jack of all trades like 16Bit described. Can do a lot of different things but doesn't really excel at any of them but a very good character from my time with him.
I really wanna know what Kameos truly elevate Homelander cos so far, I see Cyrax and Mavado giving him A LOT. Even Darrius has some cool stuff with him.
homelander is the HARDEST character i’ve had to learn ever since mkx i’ve learned ever character from mkx to mk1 and he’s the hardest one i’ve had to learn 😭
I love how messy his hair gets as the fight goes along, makes me wish they added more of the sweat physics from MKX

NRS promised this patch wouldn't be much due to Final Kombat but Reptile seemingly got buffed, Cyrax got buffed, and Homelander got an infinite. W Update
