I want this to workout for fields. Hes been ok, and its the coaches calling the plays hes doing what the coaches want him to do. 1 TD in 2 games is unacceptable however hes not turning it over. With that said, they need to score more points, they need to call plays to his strengths, take risks throw in middle of field play action. They cant survive on field goals and the penalties on offense need to stop. Now you got Herbert and Charges you have to throw more and out score them first true test.

Because of precautionary reasons i dont think Mike Tomlin liked the way that went down. If im in his position i want to play i know i got a young stud behind me everone wants to see play. Any Running QB with a half decent arm and NFLs best defense can take u to the SB . Just look at Wilson . He is a prime example. Had Best Defense and young and mobile w a good arm. Look at Kaepernick and RG3 . Both had huge success early bc of Defense and Good rushing game. Lamar Jackson is another one but he didn't have best defense. The road to the SB in the AFC goes through Mahomes. So you have to have a Great defense to hold them to a reasonable score plus an offense to keep up with them . Right now Pittsburgh has No WR2 and without WRs defenses will stack box forcing you to throw ball but who u gonna throw to other than Pickens and a Avg TE Muth . You have to have WRs to open up the run game.
They both suck and the Steelers will need TWO new QBs in March of '25.
