Haa, ashok bhai.. maine bhi check kiya tha update ke baad ye app background run kar raha tha isi vajh se heat or drain ho raha tha.. maine is app ko apkmirror se latest version download kar ke update kar diya to thik ho gya

this is not working....
i have oneplus 9r...
there is no option to uninstall updates
also when we remove permissions ( location and nearby).... it gets allowed automatically ...
both these hacks dont seem to work ...
on the other hand i have a fix of my own for now ... we need to switch off the wifi, bluetooth, and data on the phone when not in use ... the device will not consume more power in that case

I also had same issue with my OnePlus8. I also had chat with OnePlus Support on Twitter. They told me to Erase Cache and reboot the device. I did but again the same issue. Thnx for covering this in vdo.

It's ridiculous how OnePlus users come up with fixes faster than the manufacturer itself. They probably won't even ship out an update until half a year later.

I will start by massively thanking you for this.
I am not sure if this will fix my issue, but the problem has been absolutely pathetic since last 3 days! I am a OnePlus 9R user with Android 12 OTA installed.
QUICK DEVCE CONNECT has drained over 83% battery everyday, and its not even FORCE STOPPIN !!, Further, Device gets super heated !!! This kind of issue was never there in the past, but it has been a major disappointment coming in a oneplus device.
I would share screenshots if required.

it drains the battery if you connect any bluetooth device. If u don’t use bluetooth device it will not drain the battery.

Bro i had the latest update of Quick Devic e Connect which was launched few days ago. But still 35-40% of battery was consumed by that app. I tried to uninstall all updates but the result was the same. I even tried to disable permissions but after a while it again starts working. Am not able to fix it

Search for "quick device connect realme gt2". You can follow that method to completely neutralize the app.

I have noticed that in my ,one plus 8T, phone battery drain and heating suddenly starts as soon as I turn on my Bluetooth. rest of the time it's Little higher then regular consumption but once I turn on Bluetooth to connect my headphones or earphones, it starts heating exponentially.

This fix isn't working for me, it just renables itself and when checking in on the app itself again it still says the settings are in place but won't force stop and is still draining battery 😑
