Fyi, for beginners, washi tape is not painters tape, and you risk not only bleed-through, but tearing your paper when you remove it.
Also it is inadvisable to scoop paint on your brush or dip in paint, and having the paint go up past the ferrule. Ideally paint shouldn’t go more than 3/4 up the bristles, and since a small brush wouldn’t be able to hold that, it’s a better idea to use a pallet knife. :)

This has a very ‘Paint by Numbers’ vibe to it.
You need a palette knife to scoop up the paint and save on your small brushes and not waste on paint.

It would be awesome if you switched the background from time to time. If ever drawing a more darker painting then you could draw it at nighttime and use candles or other light sources as your light during the painting. Or add rain in the background. Sort if giving off the atmosphere of the painting to your surroundings. May sound like a silly idea but I think it would be lovely watching you paint a rainy picture on a rainy day or it's more of a gray background :)

Bonjour, merci d'avoir regardé la vidéo. Je suis très heureux que vous l'ayez appréciée. Oui, vous avez raison, cette gouache sèche très vite et je l'arrose périodiquement avec de l'eau bouillante. Mais jusqu'à récemment, j'ai commencé à prendre les couleurs que je voulais et à fermer le couvercle (le couvercle, s'il est bien fermé, ne sèche pas la gouache), mais... pendant le tournage d'une vidéo, les couleurs individuelles doivent être humidifiées... c'est très gênant... Je vous conseille de vous procurer de la gouache en tube, très pratique et économique... J'utilise cette gouache, car beaucoup de gens l'utilisent car elle est plus abordable... Mais la gouache en pot de mon fils, moins chère, est encore meilleure... La conclusion est qu'il faut l'essayer😄. Pardonnez mon français, si j'ai fait des erreurs quelque part.😁

@@NettyArty I appreciate the some of the ASMR aspect of your videos but also that they're not entirely ASMR and you do have background music. If it could just be more like ambient radio in the background that you're listening to while painting though I understand not actual radio because of music getting flagged and whatnot with copyrights.

Here's a fun fact I heard awhile back. Ghibli uses cheap paints like tole paint to keep the budget down. I guess that's just part of pipeline art.
@deadhouse3889 I haven’t heard or seen that online, although I’m not saying you’re wrong. However they do use Nicker poster paints, and if you search in YT, you can find some of Studio Ghibli. background artists using this paint, and MUSE paper, painting some amazing backgrounds. It usually involves *a lot* of water. It is awesome to get the opportunity to watch them work and learn some of their skills. :)
Watercolor Tutorial with Yoichi Nishikawa is one.
The only dislike I have about the video is that it does not have narration, which I'd prefer to reading subtitles while I'm watching you paint. The choice of music is nice.
