I went out for a short walk. I"m physically disabled, so toward the end of my walk, the radio station I was listening to, played this song. I am very very aware that this is a spiritual going home, but it gave me the strength to actually get to my front door. Thanks, MercyMe
You are right, but that hope strengthens you for today! Our hope of being Home with Jesus gives us that strength we need to endure, for trials have a purpose too. Im in the same boat physically. Tough most days. But....we are one day closer to being face to face. Wow... amazing
LOVE this song! Songs like this help me to keep my eyes on the "prize," and not on my difficulties. I am dealing with a lot of chronic illnesses, including losing all my hair ten years ago. Then last year found out I have an autoimmune liver disease on top of that. But, seriously, what does ANY of that matter when I consider all God has promised us? I am blessed by my Savior Jesus Christ and nothing can be taken from me, not even my life, that will separate me from Him! Thanks to Mercy Me for beautiful songs that lift our hearts!
cindy Sanford I agree. The first time I heard this I smiled and continue to smile. I lost my 30 yr old daughter 12 years ago. In the past 15 years I’ve had at least 18 back surgeries (stopped counting) and I’m funded from my tailbone to my shoulder blades. I hurt constantly. I’m a 42 yr old T1 diabetic and have been blessed with knowing how to take care of that. I am saved by Gods Grace and when I hear the verse “sister run wild run free” I know there’s a time coming where I can run and have no more pain. I will see my beautiful daughter standing there with grandparents she loved so deeply. I treasure my time here with my son & his family but what a beautiful day when I cross into Heaven.
