The point you made about promoting Gambling....it's really a good point that you pointed out. These ads never directly admit that they're promoting Gambling. They cleverly try to indulge people without people realising that where is this leading them to. The ads are like "Jeeto 4 Guna" and such tempting stuff and at last for about 2-3 seconds a slight warning "Investing is subject to market risks" to which no one pays heed to. And the warning also uses the word "investment" so as to cover the gambling concept. A very good point you've pointed out here...

What good point? There already are proper regulations over fantasy and game app ads. After each and every commercial, there is a warning that says that this product involves financial risk and risk of addiction. If you want them banned, then that won't happen. Because people are free to use their time and money they way they want. Chutiyas like you will agree over anything without thinking...

As per Indian constitution gambling is illegal (some states are exception as it is a state subject), but it's only for game of chances and not for games that involves skills.
Therefore apps like Dream11 and others are not illegal, they can still considered unethical though. But,again no one has forced anyone to get involved into it.. if an individual having 18+ of age is capable to vote for electing the Prime Minister of the country then i believe he's wise enough to understand his financial losses and gains.

Hey Farrukh, For your information promotion of gambling is banned in India but these apps like dream 11 are fantasy team game just like fantasy football.
Where you create your own team of 11 out of 22 players playing that game using limited points. Although this can be borderline gambling but to really win you have to know which player will perform better, has a good form or playing condition on that day so there is some skill involved instead of pure luck which happens in the case of gambling.
So these companies use this loophole to evade law and don't call themselves a gambling app, hope you get some perspective

Under Indian law for gambling, there are 2 types of gambling 1. Gambling on luck & 2. Gambling on skills whereas gambling on luck is illegal and gambling on skills is legal. That’s why these fantasy gaming companies come under the gambling on skills category and so they are legal. Although I still oppose them.
