1:06 if someone calls me honey in that smarmy condescending tone they will find themselves yeet’d into an alternate dimension so hard even Dr Strange would say ‘dang’
The MIL actually expects her daughter in law to bring the massage chair she'd been gifted to HER house and then graciously allow her to come over and use it ... occasionally? Wow. Just WOW. The delusion is strong with this one.
As someone who had appendicitis, they will actually not let you out the hospital until you fart in order to make sure all that gas they pumped into you for the surgery is out.
Appendicitis may not be life threatening - at first -, but it still requires emergency surgery hoping to prevent the appendix from rupturing. Once it ruptures, you've crossed into a very life threatening situation.
I had a burst appendix this year. I'm in my sixty's and it's no joke, but I didn't need family help in the hospital or when I got home. It's all done by keyhole surgery these days and yeah, full of gas and distended for weeks after. Margaret is milking it.
One thing about this story is that the non existent of nurses and doctors in the hospital aren't there supposed to be a nurse there to take care the patient. It bothers me that the writers forgot that there's nurses everywhere in the hospital to make sure you are getting better.
Also, don't hospitals provide hospital gowns? A lot of these stories have family members bringing folks changes of clothes. These are not US hospitals.

"What part of 'MY HEALTH IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS' didn't you understand?"

Yep
My younger male cousin had appendictis when he was going to gradute high school, thankfully he was rushed to the hospial.
Very true. And a burst appendix is much more serious than a acute appendicitis...
I had it age 4 and don't really remember that part lol.
If they won't stand up for you, then you don't need them in your life. He's a momma's boy so just let him go

If I don't want to do something, I won't do something. And nothing and no one is gonna make me. Don't care who it is.

"You're still young! What could you possibly need a massage chair for?!"
Stress.
Am appendicitis CAN be life threatening. Especially for younger and older people
I like the ending lol, I bet the MIL wishes she hung up the phone.
Great ending.
I don't want to do it no means no
Appendicitis is definitely life threatening if you wait too long to go to the hospital and have surgery. It's a very serious condition.
I believe the term is hypercritical 🙄
Geeze, it is just a cinnamon roll lady. Get over yourself.
Sooooo,is she still separated from her husband?
Seriously how long does it take to recover from a surgery like that.
Where's the hypocritical part?
