I was in Japan in February and early March and people were so kind to us (I only new "___ wa arimasu ka" , "ohaiou/ko n ni chiwa", "arigato gosaimasu/gosaimachita" and little more), and yet we could find all the spots thanks to your hospitality and everything is very practical to tourists - I really hope that people in general are well received when they come to Portugal as well. This is probably one of my favorite videos of yours ever. Everything you do is just so...thoughtful. Even down to the fact that you care enough to actually look nice when you travel by plane, which is something that is completely lost on the typical American flyer these days. I'm glad you had a wonderful time with your mother as well - as we ourselves grow older, it's been a reminder at least for me to take time with my remaining parent. Thank you Nami-san for all that you do in putting these vlogs together. I wish that there were more people like you who cared about living life intentionally and thoughtfully.

I've only just started watching the video, but I was sitting here fighting tears, for the same reason. I lost mine in Feb. of 2023. Last year I was exhausted and numb and out of it. This year, it's really hitting me. My heart goes out to you.

Finally I was able to watch, looks like you and your mom had a good time and created some good memories. The pendulum at the top of Taipei 101 is incredible and it worked really well during their last earthquake.

Hello from Montreal! 😎 Seems like it's inevitable that you will pack way more stuff than you could ever need, but you only learn this by experience. Pack your suitcase, then put half of it back. Then take out two more things. You'll buy stuff when you're there! On the next trip you'll pack lighter I'm sure. It all comes with practice.

This is the first time I've been so affected watching one of your videos. maybe I projected myself through you because I miss my mother. I even cried on the way back when you got separated at the terminal 😅 that motivated me to organize a trip with my mother and my sister!

Finally I was able to watch, looks like you and your mom had a good time and created some good memories. The pendulum at the top of Taipei 101 is incredible and it worked really well during their last earthquake.

Thank you for sharing your trip with us. On our trip to Japan last year we also had a lot of help from the nicest people with directions, places to eat and especially in the stores.
高雄発信の永心鳳茶でいうレストランおすすめです、台北では二店舗があります、お茶や台湾料理や鉄観音のクレープ食べられます、お土産なら信義区の統一デパートで緑藤生機のリップグロスはネイルもつかえます、A13デパートで筷炒でいう台湾料理屋さんの飯は美味しいです

Hello from Montreal! 😎 Seems like it's inevitable that you will pack way more stuff than you could ever need, but you only learn this by experience. Pack your suitcase, then put half of it back. Then take out two more things. You'll buy stuff when you're there! On the next trip you'll pack lighter I'm sure. It all comes with practice.
