They loved each other very much. Because of the trauma of losing their child, she became cold and choose to endure her pain in silence. He felt ignored and looked for warmth elsewhere and cheated on her with his much younger assistent./collegue. He even divorced her for the mistress. She literally begged/stalked him not to leave her, even after knowing he betrayed her. Her pityfulness went even further and she tried to kill herself when she saw him and his mistress in bed. So, she was/is such a pityful doormat, all the time acting as if she had strong personality. Years later he saw her again and wanted her back but she had lost her memories after a car crash.Till the end he tried to get her back, which hurted his girlfriend/mistress. But this young girl knew that he cheated on his wife with her so she knew he was not a loyal person so she shouldnt be surprised. Eventually the ex-wife remembered everything, the love they had but also his cheating and betraying her but still she went back to him. Such a doormat, so she deserves him. Next hard times in their lives and he will again betray her for sure. Loyalty is not one of his virtue after all. I loved the story and the acting but I would have loved it more if she too had a physical relationship with the second lead.
I hate the ending because the cheater husband was able to get back together with his pitiful wife. He divorced her for his mistress. She is better off with Dale than this scumbag of a husband.
He took advantage of her having amnesia to make her fall in love with him again without disclosing that he is a cheating scumbag that punished her for not grieving for their daughter the way he thought she should. He knew exactly what to do to win her heart. He kept calling the woman he wanted thrown away his wife and never suffered any consequences for cheating on her. He got to live happily with his young mistress for 4 years and eventually got back with his wife to live happily with her again.

Dramas portraying cheating as a trivial problem of marriage, husband sleeping with other woman and wife getting back to husband like fools are really turn off. I feel personally wronged where such things happen. I usually don't watch drama where married man cheats i get scared and anxious. I can't stand it
