- INGENIOUS SEWING HACKS
If you want to start sewing you need to learn a lot of tricks to make sewing to be less time-consuming and a bit easier. You will find a lot of sewing hacks for beginners that are worth studying. Even those who sew for a long time might find some cool tips they haven’t known before.
Firstly, let’s learn how to make a button for jeans if you lost one. We have a smart and simple way to replace a lost button. You can buy a replacement button but you will need a special tool to place a new button. We share an easy solution: cover the coin with a piece of denim!
Need a sewing kit? We have a genius idea - transform eyeglasses case into sewing kit! You may buy a cheap one and glue a couple of magnets inside and a small piece of a kitchen sponge. Enjoy! Another clever hack is to transform an empty balm container into a sewing kit!
Learn how to keep your needles and pins in order: add magnets to the saucer to keep your pins in place.
Usually, it’s a very embarrassing moment when you pull out of the laundry your lovely hoodie the drawstrings are pulled out. Spend less than 5 minutes to solve this problem forever. Pull out drawstring pants, and make sure your drawstrings are even on both sides. Next, find the center of the hood and make few stitches to fix a drawstring.
If leggings are too small cut the waistband and replace it with an elastic band.
Sometimes it’s so hard to make stitches all even, but you can make marks on your thumb with a marker. Measure the size of the stitches and mark them.
Besides, you will learn how to resize jeans, fix unexpected holes in your clothes, how to make beautiful and very simple embroidered flowers!
Share the most ingenious sewing hacks with your friends!

These really are ingenious sewing hacks. Usually, when I see videos, like this one, they just go over stuff I already knew from my days working as a tailor. This one was loaded with tips I'd never seen before. Good job!
Just what I needed to fix holes in my knit and woven items! thanks
Normally there is only one maybe two actually usable things off these videos. Sure they all look nifty but they don't work..this time though they all are actual, usable hacks. This actually IS how you hem and alter clothes. Well done 5-minute research team!
Lovely creaking video dear

Instead of wasting a Magic Eraser, why not just draw on your jeans with SOAP, like people have done for ages?
I wonder who has the energy sit down all day and think about a new life hack every day for this channel
I would have repaired the armpit seam using the LADDER STITCH technique. It is worked from the front side of the garment working in the holes left by the original needle. Any machine sewn seam can be repaired this way, and the result is absolutely indistinguishable from the rest of that seam. You should record a video on ladder stitch seam repairs, because it is difficult to describe without seeing a demo, though I am confident that the experienced seamstresses reading this will know exactly what I mean without seeing a demonstration. There may be other names for this technique, but “ladder stitch seam repair” is the only one I have seen.
Its so awsome thank you
Love ❤ you so much

That's a Mercury Head Dime, worth around $3. I think I'd find something worth a little less than that to use as a button.

I finally figured out how the sewing a ripped seam without having to turn something inside out works. And the coolest tip ever was how they threaded the needle by rubbing the eye of the needle back and forth over the thread. I thought there was no way possible that would work. I tried it because I was in the process of repairing a seam and my eyesight isn’t what it used to be. It actually works!!
I think this is the most useful video from them
Bright side you always got new tips and tricks to help👌
Hriday Kotecha this is 5 minute crafts though, not bright side??? Or is it powered by the same channel?
Hi
So the "hacks" to save your clothes are to... sew them?
And the other more than half of the video is mostly just repeats from other videos and have nothing to do with saving clothes.
Why does youtube keep recommending these videos to me?
Banai Feldstein I agree, but from a different perspective. It should say apparel clothing hacks or sewing.. idk. Something different. If I weren’t a seamstress, these hacks would not save my clothes. This is the obvious answer... I enjoy the vids since I am a seamstress though.
Case you have
@@sarabethmattis6099 . Banai Feldstein -- I'm addicted to watching these. Usually they go too fast for me to figure out what they're doing anyway. But maybe that's why they recycle some of the hacks in different videos, so eventually it'll click. I like the rubber band zipper pull, and I've used it! So there's something for everyone.

Easy to give an unexpected answers to your old looks to amazing style of rhe dress you wear , inside or outside outdoor ,
🧣 so many o' these are fantastic, but that SWEATER [& scarf] fix @ 6:45 is STYLIN'❗ 🐑
why use a Mercury Dime? you might be saving your pants from having no button at the expense of your bank account. use a regular dime and check the price of the mercury dime you could have enough to buy a whole bunch of new pants.

Meh, I'll definitely use the "Straw to thread a hoodie (or more likely sweat pants)" trick.
Uuuhh … That would be *Me*, LOL! However, I have to say, these tips and hacks are a lot better than most of the '5 Minute Crafts' (Girly or Not) that they put on their videos, probably because these are *Real* sewing tips and hacks and therefore actually work!
your the best
These sewing hacks work on flesh wounds as well...You're welcome.

one of your best compilations for me so far. Thank You!
How is sewing a t-shirt a sewing hack?!
These days "doing something" is a hack. Used to be a "sewing technique" or a "sewing project". I saw an apparel ad that said they had the right outfit for any hustle. Huh? People don't have "jobs" any more? Just "hustles"? I guess it's so we appreciate the precariousness of our employment.
