There's very little difference between this game and Subnautica other being in space. The base modules look exactly like the ones in Subnautica. Love this game tho and cant wait for Subnautica 2 next year. But this game will be great to play till then
Ywah, it was blatantly inspired by subnautica (which is fine, most of subnautica and it's designs are rather generic for things like tools and buildings) But it does have some very very major QoL upgrades anyway, like the scanner also being able to scan rhe surroundings for scannables lol
Nickel was the darker metallic piece you mined with your scrapper the only darker grey one from the wall, so look for dark grey metal when you look for nickel

Just finished watching Kage848's playthrough and now to watch your playthrough. The game has been really fun to play and I'm glad your playing it 😊 I have zero issue with the devs borrowing a few ideas from Subnatica as they've also taken the game in its own direction. There are actually 6 buttons that you can use as the 6th puts your equipment away so you're only using your hands. You can also rebind the keys to make it easier to not accidentally do the wrong thing with your mouse buttons. I love that they give you an emergency stop button so you don't fly into things hard.

Looks like early version of subnautica. I do like that the fabricator looks to let you make multiples of the same item at once instead of constantly clicking to make items
this game looks sooooo much better. its was a good game when you first played but man it looks so nice now. graphics are awesome. gameplay is alot better. this is a game that you definitely need to do a series on. no more mist or sunkenland or subsistence or anything you've already made multiple series of. we deserve full series of games like this.

You dont have to keep checking your inventory to see what you collect. It shows you in the bottom left corner right next to the oxygen bar what you just collected.
That one boulder you were flying past when you flew to the first base, that you were wondering about what it might be - that should be silver. Looked like the silver boulders from the demo at least.

Stay close to your starter base until you can make the scanner and drill to mine. There will be lots of silver you can mine with the hand held drill. The scanner as you found will be needed to a lot early.
Game looks great! Maybe I'm being picky but I would've liked for the frabicator arms actually a laser animation or something along those lines and that items would take a few seconds to be created, similar to a 3D printer I guess. Wishlisted! Keep up the great content 😊

i saw this game popping up in my youtube feeds, i played the prologue a while back sadly i see its still not available and it will be after the launch of PoE2 what at least for me puts this game at the play later, i like these types of games so i am looking forward to the release
I watch you play the demo. 1. The nickel you knocked off the wall. 2. The data recorder (read log) in the room with the computer had a password (in the demo). Did it also start a new quest? That I don't remember..
After Starforge, Metaverse, Osiris: New Dawn, and Planet Nomads among others, I need more than a pretty alpha and 'awesome roadmap' to get me hyped. Do the developers have funding? Do they have a past? Have they abandoned other games in development?
game looks interesting and amusing. but is it single player only? will there be any pvp, pve/pvp events, server wide events? or is it like the game icarus where nothing happens? the lack of external force makes the whole sandbox game kind of stale. maybe im just spoiled by games like rust where there is an actual risk
It's funny watching you go up to a silver asteroid, look at it, and go that can't be silver! and leave it behind. Actually, watching you go that's too hard to drill and leave it behind is funny too. You didn't get the nickel from a silver node, it was a chunk in the wall 37:01 it's not shiny like silver 37:35.
I like watching game play. YT adds every 4 to 5 minutes, some with back to backds and some adds you cannot skip.... YT made the video a piece of crap with all the frequent adds that would otherwise would have been very enjoyable. 👎do to frequent yt adds.
Some people mess up when talking. This is called a mistake, like you. Also, if you are a “good” product of the American education system, then you would put the question mark inside of the quotations instead of the outside.

Silver is a lot more abundant than it was before. Also resources respawn pretty fast.
bateries can be recharged once you build your outpost and install a charger unit, the escape pod cannot recharge batteries
