- Taking advantage of the unusually good spring weather by nipping to the Isle of Wight for lunch.
Biggin Hill airport to Bembridge airport and return, with some crab sandwiches at the Crab and Lobster.
Aircraft is a PA28-161, reg G-CEIZ - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Haha, yes it seems a popular combination for reg numbers.
I was coming back through the Exeter zone this month and there were 4 aircraft with IZ or EZ in the reg. The controller was handling it well, but 2 of the pilots were getting very confused.
Great video. I just passed my skills test last week and am doing a channel run on Sunday to Southampton with one of the instructors from our club. Hope your IMC went ok. Jersey is a great place to do it.
I remember being in the air at the same time as this aircraft. I was in a PA28 G-CEZI - the controller at Farnborough was having fun making the distinction between India Zulu and Zulu India!
I flew from Deanland to the Isle of Wight not that long ago. Nice flying over Portsmouth.
Yes, Portsmouth harbour looks very cool from the air.
we went via ortac then direct to Bournemouth. Hoping to do Aldernay this saturday but the weather is looking rubbish
@jerseyscampi IMC was great fun, good instructors down at JAC. Did most of the training with James the CFI, top lad!
@londonpommie Not yet on the to-do list - Cant wait to get to them needles ;-)
@nuttybex Not sure why I'm squinting when I'm wearing sunglasses!
@ukv1290 Cheers, you had a run down there yet since you passed?

@jerseyscampi It;s great isn't it! Did you fly direct or go via France?
