Heimish Moringa BB Cream has a shade that just *might be a bit brown girl friendly. Also Purito Cica Clearing BB Cream which is darker than it looks on the ads. (I’m an olive girlie and no 23 works well for me. I think it somehow shade-adjusts a bit too.)
i’m glad you mentioned the difference between douyin and k makeup and called manhua lashes by their actual name bc a lot of people seem to disregard that. and this look is so lovely on you !!
IKR when I first heard that I thought people really think it is chinese make up style because like douyin just mean TikTok in Chinese which is 抖音 I feel like people should rather call it as Chinese makeup not douyin makeup because you could basically find it anywhere in Chinese social media as a Chinese person myself from hk
The Saem Saemul blushes have one of the biggest shade ranges (they even have yellow blush!), they're pigmented and are pretty affordable. I have two blushes from them, one peachy and one orange, I never regret buying them❤
Honestly looks really really good on you. A lot of people try Korean makeup on brown skin but they don’t look so good because they think the shades will look the same on them. But because you know a lot about color theory you picked the correct shades! Can you also try like watery douyin makeup. It’s very clear ish makeup with slight pinkish tint. I’m curious as a brown girl what shades you’d use.
Same i hate seeing the bright pink lips on certain darker gals. You need to find the right shade of tint because we're not white and we bave different undertones 😭
Tryin kpop makeup on my brown skin... And when my mother came to my room, she said "honey, do you need to go to the ER? your completion like a moldy bread"... 😂😂😂 She also said that the super white shiranuri makeup style is still 'a bit' better for me. 😅😅😅
The main difference is that K-beauty is a more natural way to enhance certain features that are the beauty standards and it’s very warm to give of this “innocent” vibe that so popular there whereas douyin makeup is very cold but very ethereal and out of world and gives them this balance of sweet and mature
@@goldenhourss not really baddie. Angelic and fairy like. Like a folk tale heavenly maiden. I think one of the main differences is in finish. Douyin is much more luminous and sparkly, while ulzzang makeup is more matte.
@@PandoraBear357It's actually the opposite! Chinese makeup can also have the baddie look. Look up smokey cool toned douyin looks. Not all are made equal so there's a mix of ethereal but dramatic looks. Chinese makeup has a big emphasis on matte foundation or a matte base in general but the lips can be glossy or matte and the eyes are twinkling with shimmer. But it's still focused on being matte, especially if you see how much matte products are sold by Chinese companies (that's their focus). With Kbeauty, the focus is on luminosity currently. If you're referencing really old school Ulzzang, then yes it was matte.
Honestly, I think this is the best makeup I’ve seen on you! It compliments your soft features so well, you’re glowing and look absolutely stunning! I really think you should incorporate some of this into your daily routine, beautiful💕
lovedddd so much how you clarified that douyin makeup IS NOT korean makeup. as a chinese person, see influencers and people constantly doing this is agitating and that's why ur my fav influencer
Ok the entire makeup looked soooooo good on you Plus the side face flip thing you do to show the full face makeup, lady I love that it gives grand entry vibes ✨️🤍🌻
I’m glad you stayed the difference between Korean and Chinese makeup, because as a Chinese person most people I meet completely disregard our fashion/beauty and say it’s Japanese or korean instead
I consider it funny a bit that people call it „Douyin make up” and not saying directly it’s Chinese. Some time ago I watched a video about low confidence of Chinese people about who they are so they call themselves „East Asian” in social media to avoid saying they are Chinese but now the same thing happens to make up. At the end it’s just make up so it doesn’t matter where the style is popular, do what you want and call it whatever but I guess people confuse it and call it Korean style because its looking very similar
THANK YOU for talking about the difference between douyin makeup and Korean makeup. I’m so tired of people labelling everything as Korean so I’m so glad you took the time to address that!
Korean makeup definately works better on brown skin than douyin makeup from all the videos I have seen. I was scared to try it but after seing your makeup, I might just try it. Also you look fabulous.
I love this girl. She is so real and tbh one of the most beautiful ppl I've ever come across inside & out both. It's just the South Asian community which makes us (dark skinned)feel inferior and not beautiful. U go girl!!❤❤ love from India 🇮🇳
Your complexion has gotten brighter a lot and your dark spots has reduced significantly. Can you post a video on how you achieved these and with which products? (Since we have a similar tone & texture it might help me and others out a lot)
I love how you stated the differences between Korean and douyin makeup, BUT what you did is still Chinese Beauty. Chinese makeup uses manhua lashes which most people call “manga” lashes (which is wrong). Chinese makeup also focuses more on glitter (which is used) and blush. Actual korean makeup is VERY natural and almost not even wearing any makeup at all.
I’m sorry I have to point this out. It’s “aegyosal” not “igosol” pronounced “eh-gyoh-sahl” and it’s not eye sockets, rather a layer of skin or muscle right under your eyes that become distinct when you smile the aegyosal makeup gives the illusion that you’re smiling which makes you look more friendly, cute, and therefore attractive
Looks so beautiful on you!! Thank you for noting that Douyin and Korean makeup are different, I always love a knowledgeable and honest influencer. You’re definitely one of my favorites 💜
