To be honest, I think you teach English pronunciation super super super well.
Almost all the teachers in Hong Kong and China say that the American English R is a Retroflex sound. They say if you want to make an R sound, you must curl you tongue tip. I tried to make a retroflex R sound but I found it was really hard to do it because my tongue tip easily touches the hard palate and the sound was very wired and wrong.
And most of the Chinese think that the American English R is just the same as the R in Mandarin in which the R is a retroflex sound at the end of a syllable. In fact, the 2 Rs are totally different. For me, I can’t pronounce the Mandarin R correctly because I speak Cantonese.
I am glad that you teach a much easier way to pronounce the R sound. Thank you so much.

      Thanks!
Be on the lookout for the R/L mouth posture lesson in the near future. It'll probably help you even more 🙂

Very nice explanation. It seems like I am making a retroflex ‘r’ when I try to say this sound.

That's perfectly fine, as long as it's a nice, solid, deep sound ☺

I'm not y'know or anything, but his mustache is great. This video is old anyway. He shaved it now.
