YOU TOOK MY JOB!!! Guess that's what happens when you do your priorities before relaxing to a LRR stream. That your notifications TOTALLY didn't think you'd want to find out. Okay, I'll stop now. Much appreciated!
I just now noticed that Serge, upon absolutely destroying at a Quiplash answer (approx. 2:32:30), just leans in and says real quietly: "socks." You are vindicated, Serge! You are vindicated.
top stuff. I really like seeing everyone on the screen. The last Jackbox stream was fun, but having faces to embody the voices makes the whole thing much more engaging.
For those who want to skip sub and bit drop read offs: First game - 8:45 Second game - 36:31 Third game - 55:38 Fourth game - 1:37:53 Fifth game - 2:05:52 Final game - 2:27:30
Re: the 30 ft drop question from split the room, 30 ft would actually probably result in very serious injuries, but not death. The median fatal fall distance is actually 48 ft, according to Trauma Anesthesia.
I like how the only 3 actors I reliably knew in You Don't Know Jack's lightning round were the 3 that played Sherlock Holmes lol. I have yet to see Holmes, I need to watch that.
I tuned out a little during the downtime of patently stupid and I tuned back in in time to hear the words Calamari Pizza... I've tried it, I'm not eager to try it again
"really don't want to insult Gandhi" Gandhi was a classist who hated the darker skinned Indians. He worked with the British to devise resistance tactics designed to fail so the people would feel catharsis, but not actually accomplish anything. Gandhi's values aligned with the imperial coninizers. When the British pulled out do to unrelated financial issues in the empire, they made Gandhi look like a folk hero, successfully maintianing the caste system which continues to oppress the majority of Indians to this day. Matt, read a history not written by white people please.
If I'm not mistaken, he also said that rape was the fault of the victim and slept nude with young women to test his resolve. Not as great a dude as you might think. It's really depressing.
I really wish you'd stop doing sub callouts. It really takes away from the steam, using up lots of time. It's also untenable as you get more viewers and spend more and more time reading names. When other streamers (like Northernlion) stopped doing it, it was a massive improvement.
