Koolaid taught my little green parrotlet to talk! Entei LOVES watching koolaid's videos! we have to watch some over and over or he gets really grumpy! but he says alot of what Koolaid says and he has been since he was 3 months old! he's now 5 months old and wakes me up at 6am everday shouting 'three' and expecting me to play peekaboo! We just got a little blue baby boy and I'm hoping Arti will learn to talk with Koolaid and Entei :D Thank you Koolaid!!
He's a lil cutie. I have 2 ringnecks, 6 cockatiels, and 13 parakeets. I wish the ringnecks would get along with the cockatiels like Koolaid does with the one you have. One is very aggressive towards them and one likes to sit with them, but they don't like her. lol
these little birds are SOO adorable! i'm thinking of getting one tomarrow. i've been searching for the perfect 'widdle birdie' for me, and think i may have found it! thanks for posting thesed videos!
WOW I never realized Koolaid could say so many things. I have watched your vids for several months they are very entertaining Bowie is my favorite Koolaid is now #2.
@scorpioswrath OMG i would die of laughter if I got a friend for Bowie. They are hilarious aren't they, whether they like a bird or not! Yes the voice is what got me! Yeah i find the screams aren't too bad cuz it doesn't last very long. My parrotlet can be louder cuz it's more constant.
@jxh0703 The funniest thing happened the other day. The Lutino IRN will not train to go on a finger. If you try to use your finger to get her, she runs around in circles and says "UP! UP!" lol It always cracks me up.

@scorpioswrath Koolaid & Bowie have a different relationship now though..they don't like ea other! lol. well, they will tolerate ea other but Koolaid can give a good beating to just about anyone (except me of course haha). aww, you got 2 IRNs, they're just special aren't they!
I think it's hilarious how when Koolaid gets close to Bowie to try and get some of the pistachio, Bowie moves away like "hahah... noooooo... this is mine"
@TheDottigal haha that would be funny if koolaid said 'oh yea' :p not all birds learn to talk, but the ones that do learn by hearing 'music'...as in your voice, if you make it into a tone, they're more likely to mimic it. rather than just monotone/mumbling...not that you're doing that..just that everyone's voices are different. :)
@happying7 haha, I think smokey didn't like koolaid hanging over top of him in this one. they fight like brothers & then a min later they're preening ea other. silly birds.
@TheFirebird23 well that's a start! the sounds of water, coughs & even laughing?!...maybe try and make simple sounds like 'kiss kiss' (loud & clear) when he's making those sounds or when he's being vocal like that...i find they have good attention when they're on a roll :)
@jxh0703 Oh yes! The 2 IRN's hate each other. They will fight anytime they can. Mostly just beaking at each other. They never really hurt each other besides their pride. It's mostly over attention but they are very sweet. I love when they talk. They sound like little kids. One talks all the time and one will only talk when she's getting pet. If you can put up with the noise when they scream, they are great pets.

I'm still trying to teach my parrotlet to talk, but he likes to copy sounds more than anything else. He mimics running water, coughs, sneezes and laughes. I keep on repeating the same words but he is having none of it. I was wondering if you have any advice to get hin to talk? Thanks!
my parrotlet was NEXT door to my husband's Amazon, I thought everything was cool till a freak accident when I was upstairs, my parrotlet has a permanently unstable beak and is now a special needs bird as his lower beak and jaw have been broken in a matter of seconds, please be careful
