They want everything to be basic. Meg drums basic so it can let Jack run wild with the guitar. Meg is quite a good drummer, she keeps wonderful beat and has a solid style. This is early Stripes so it's meant to be sloppy. Jack White once said Bon Scott was the greatest Australian ever. This is a tribute to him.
@streetsidenomad the white stripes didn't have a concert at New Years Eve at the Magic Stick. In 2000 they actually had an concert at the Magic Stick but the real date is 3.3. You won't find any AC/DC-Cover in the Setlist and this is the only Gig at the Magic Stick in 2000. btw, idiots use the word literally.
